Family of 4 with 2 DS (ages 7 and 4) on the dining plan. We already have a breakfast at Donald's Safari, lunch at Crystal Palace, and dinner at Ohana. We need one more dinner and Chef Mickey's is full. Any suggestions for a resort hotel dinner?

Boma?? They do have kid foods on the buffet if you need that... We are adventurous eaters so all of us love it there. :goodvibes

I have never eaten at these restaurants but have heard positive reviews:
Kona Cafe' (Poly)
1900 Park Fare (we have eaten there for breakfast and enjoyed it) or GF Cafe' (GF)
The Wave (brand new at CR)
Cape May Cafe' & Yachtsman's Steakhouse (Yacht and Beach Club)
Spoodles (Boardwalk)
Whispering Canyon (we enjoyed our lunch there..it's at WL)
Have you considered any restaurants at DTD? We enjoy Wolfgang Puck Cafe' and have heard great things about Fulton's. Earl of Sandwich is one of our personal favorite CS restaurants.

Hope this helps!

Also, keep calling back to get into Chef Mickey's. Someone might cancel their ADR.

If we are limiting this to resort dining:

We liked Whispering Canyon Cafe. (In our experience, it is very fun for kids. Although recent reviews are stating things have changed)

We like Cape May Cafe for breakfast. At dinner it is a clambake. We've never been to dinner (seafood and I don't agree  ) but I've heard it is yummy.

I agree to keep calling and seeing if what you want is available. Good luck and enjoy your trip!! :wave2:

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian has a good menu - the characters are Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the evil step sisters.

Spoodles at Boardwalk

Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club

1900 PF (dinner) has good food (variety) and the "show" between the step mother and sisters was GREAT! DH said it was the best meal of our trip. O'hana breakfast was good too...we had an early ADR so we got a lot of character interaction.
Boma I good too. The do have general kids' items too.
Keep calling for Chef Mickeys if you really want it!

Boatwrights at POR is quite good and you can take a bus to downtown disney then the boat up the river to POR and make a night out of it. We always love Ohana for dinner and it's fun for the kids at night there too, try to grab fireworks from the beach after dinner

We LOVE Boma at AKL and Kona Cafe at Poly. We did Chef Mickey's for dinner for the first time on our last trip and I wasn't very happy with the food choices. I have heard from numerous people that it's better for breakfast though.

I'd go to 1900 Park Fare.

I also liked Kona Cafe, but the character meal is better for children.

depends on where you want but for 1 credit ts I'd look at boma, spoodles or ohana for dinner.....
