Hi,
I am heading to WDW for my 21st b-day and will be staying at ASsp for 3 nights. Since this is a relitavly new resort that I have never stayed at I am calling for every scrap of info anyone can give me. Anything and I mean ANTHYING will be appreciated from how long it takes to get places, the best rooms to ask for if open, the best resturants, whatever!
Thanks!

We stayed in the AS sports years ago, our first onsite stay. We really liked it. There are 2 double beds, the rooms were small but fine for the 3 of us. The rooms also have a wall safe which is nice. The bus system was great, we went over July 4th and it was crowded but the buses came every 15 minutes sometimes faster if one bus was full. We did not share buses with any other resort. Coming back from the parks at night the buses could be very full, but again the wait for the next bus was not a long one.
The surf's up section is the closest to the main pool and the food court, we stayed in the tennis section but it was not a long walk to anything.
There is not a restaurant there, but a food court, we thought the food was good and there were plenty of choices. Get the refillable mug, we paid for ours by our second day.
The AS sports is the "oldest" of the three allstar resorts, I think that the AS movies is the newest of the three.
