Anyone know how soon in advance you can make reservations for the TMNT pizza dinner and the character breakfast with Sponge Bob and friends?

Also, anyone know who is usually there as "friends" of Sponge Bob?

And I'm assuming (maybe wrongly so) that it is not as hard to get reservations for these places as it is for Disney dining, but how soon should I plan to schedule for a trip there if we'll be there over Labor Day weekend?

We've never stayed at the Nick hotel (much to my DD's disappointment) but I have several friends who have. I talked to 2 of them and both made their character dining reservations over the phone just a couple of weeks prior to their vacations. As for the Spongebob characters both also said that "all of them" were there, with "all of them" meaning Spongebob, Mr. Krabs, Patrick, Squidward and Sandy.

We are looking at possibly doing 2 days at this hotel before we check in to Disney. It seems so pricey? It would cost $500 for 2 days and that is with the Hero discount UGH

I made reservations for the TNMNT dinner the same day that I booked my reservation - it was about 4 months out.

Don't know about the breakfast though all we did was the dinner.

My personal opinion is unless you are planning on staying at the hotel for the swimming (they have some VERY large pools) there isn't much else to do. They did have a double dare show but we couldn't get in - all the reservations were taken.

We were able to make reservations for the breakfast the evening before at the hotel. We went during a slow time so there wasn't many people there anyway. You can make reservations for the Double Dare show also at the hotel. Although they will try to sell you other stuff when you go to make reservations.

We actually are planning on being at the pool a lot. We have been twice, just for one night, as our first night in Orlando and it's always been too cool to really enjoy the pool. :( BUT we also really enjoyed just walking around the hotel, doing the minigolf which wasn't anything exciting but still fun for us! :)

Not sure what options you put in, but my family of four, I just priced it for the dates we are going (Labor Day weekend) and we could get a basic room for $105/night, so just $210, plus the resort fees (ugh!) and taxes.

So none of the other Nick characters now? We went several years ago for the character breakfast and it was Spongebob, Dora, that chick/duck from one of those shows, lol, and a few others...so I was hoping for some variety but wasn't sure if they still had those. Thanks for the info!!!

I've read really bad reviews of this hotel and have no desire to stay there. unfortunately, my son is very into TMNT and spongebob. he also LOVES power rangers but the special weekends haven't worked for us.

i am debating booking the cheapest room i can get there for one night while we are at disney in march/april and then just going to the hotel for dinner and possibly breakfast....not actually staying there. we won't have a car though so would a cab be our only option?

also...i had a reservation there last september for 2 nights and then got nervous and cancelled it. I think i made the dining reservations a month out or something and had plenty of times to choose from. :)

Honestly, it isn't the greatest hotel but we stayed twice, in 2010 and 2012 and both times our room was clean, everything was fine! I have no idea about cans or anything though.

do you mean cabs not cans? :) not to hijack the thread or anything but do you happen to know if the power rangers are around the hotel like some of the other characters (i've only read and heard this since never stayed there) or if we don't make it to a power ranger weekend then we miss out (only ones now are valentines weekend or the following weekend which i think is president's day time).

i just ask because you've been a couple times.

Also to add to the thread a little more - you can google videos of the character meals. from what i saw of the spongebob breakfast it is him, Patrick, sandy, mr. crabs. honestly (excluding food because how would i know) these character meals appear to blow the ones at disney away.

i think with the TMNT meal they come out two at a time and switch off but you'd meet all of them over the course of the night.

Yes, cabs, sorry!

I have no idea about the Power Rangers but am hoping for them to be there when we go! DS LOVES Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles and Sponge Bob, so this would be awesome if we're lucky enough to see Power Rangers, too! :goodvibes

We did the character breakfast once and DD was 3.5 and really, really enjoyed it. But then it was Dora, Sponge Bob, the chick from Wonder Pets (is that even right??? LOL) and I thought Diego but maybe not. She LOVED Dora at the time, so that was awesome!!!

we did TNMNT at Thanksgiving - all 4 come out with their handlers and do a little show and then each turtle walks around meeting and greeting. The turtle show was the only reason we had a 1 night reservation. (it was a good deal - Groupon). We didn't spend the night because we were staying at Disney and didn't want to break up the trip for 1 night.

I just checked in and then after we were through with the hotel - I went to our room and called in to check out. - From the information that I received from Nick - you either had to call in from your room or visit the front desk to check out.

I just booked one night in late May at Nick hotel specifically for the TMNT dinner. I made the reservation online then called right after to book the dinner. I had my choice of times starting at 6:00. BTW they have an early booking code on their website and it's also on Retail me Not.

So you have to be a guest at the hotel to eat at their onsite restaurants?

Hi, so if you will, ... you paid for a night's stay but did not actually sleep there? But bc of this you you were able to catch the shows and did you have a Character meal with them too? I'm just not to keen on the idea of staying here after reading the reviews but my boys would love to experience TMNT. Would you happen to know if I can book the meals without a stay like the Disney Character Meals? Anything would be helpful and much appreciated Thanks! Ivy
