I need ideas

We will have 6 or 8 on our next trip to Disney World in January 2009, and I'd like to do something special to tie us all together (my family of four, my mom, nephew, brother and other nephew). Something along the lines of matching tshirts, but I'd love to get more ideas, too. I'd like to either do something special for just my mom, something just for the kids (at the time we go- girls ages 5 and 6, boys ages 3 and 8) or something for all of us. It doesn't have to be a shirt. Here are some ideas I had, and I'd love to hear your ideas if you can think of anything.

Handmade autograph books for the kids (and maybe my mom) (might need to have someone else make these- I'm not good with paper crafts )
Decorated water bottles
Tshirts for everyone (we have 3 different last names going, so I'd need to get more creative than "Lastname Disney Vacation 2009")- everyone going is okay with looking cheesy for one day.
Personalized sling backpacks for the kids to carry souveniers and snacks

Any other ideas?

Check out the Creative DISign board here...there is a lot of great ideas and inspiration there. Somewhere there are instructions for a cool tie dye Mickey head t-shirt, so it is self explanatory and no wording needed!!!!

What about some kind of hat theme? Either a cap for everyone in their favorite character, or get a plain white cap or bucket hats and use those for autographs. It is also fun to get photo mats autographed at character meals so you have a nice way to frame your pics.

You could also customize some beach bags or towels for the pool, but that may be too much of a good thing!

I made autograph books quite simply by downloading clipart into a word file, printing it out and having it bound at Kinkos for $5 a book...they put a nice front and back cover on too.

Just wanted to add to make sure you take a ton of digital pics -- I finally got our pics uploaded and organized in a photobook on Snapfish and got to live the trip over again. Or plan on making a photo CD for your group. You can always order Photopass from Disney, but if you have anyone a bit tech savvy in your crew, you can do your own. I think it helps when the trip is over and you have the Disney blues.
