i need ideas for disney countdown poster!

hello, creative disers! i want to get some ideas of how you guys do your disney countdown posters and i figured this would probably be the place to get some. show my pics of your posters! i get to make my 30-day countdown poster in 5 days!!!

Well, this isn't a poster countdown, but it is a countdown nonetheless. We did jellybeans in a jar...eat one a day! Also a fellow diser put up mickey heads (paint chips from home depot) on her sliding glass door and takes one off a day. And along the lines of that, since you were asking about a poster and this just came to me with your idea of a poster combined with the other diser's mickey paint chip head idea..how bout a disney pic/poster that no one sees ahead of time covered with the mickey paint chip heads in random order numerical order. Number the heads...take off heads in decending order to reveal pic/poster underneath. Kind of like a advent calendar. HTH. Have fun! Michelle

Here's ours... ( Sorry about the bad/large picture)

The star with the number is a stack of post-it notes that I added stickers to. We pull one off each day. It was DS's idea to start with 75. He wanted to use all of the yellow post-its.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to get a good picture, but we bought a small dry erase board and some pale blue construction paper. We cut a large castle out of the construction paper. We glued the castle on top of the dry erase board and had the drawbridge gate open to reveal the dry erase board. We leave it on our fridge year round - once a trip is booked it can go on the countdown calendar, but we only change the number weekly until we get within 2 months.
