I knew I was in trouble..... I stayed on-plan last week and then last night I lost it, and ate a bunch of carbs, and way above my points---and weigh in was today. To try to recover I drank a ton of water today, but only had to use the ladies room twice.

So weigh in at weight watchers today had me up one pound.

I need to get back on-plan and up my protein. Please somebody tell me it's not the end of the world, so I don't slack off!:(

Ok first of all CALM DOWN!!!!

Ok now that you are calm you need to realize that EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE has a bad day from time to time!! THe key is to jump right back into it and not let itt affect the rest of your week!!!! Just relax take a deep breath maybe have a nice relxing cup of tea and go for a walk!! Or if it is getting late tonight just have something warm to drink and tell yourself to get up and the morning and jump right back on your program!!

You can do it!!!! I know you can!!!!

I agree with Jiminy102, just take a deep breath! don't beat yourself up over it. Learn from this instance and move on. What was your trigger??? Then try to avoid that next time.

And it isn't the end of the world! It is the beginning of a wonderful journey where you will learn all about yourself and what you can accomplish, and the strength you HAVE inside of YOU!!!!

Celebrate your success, you said you stayed on plan and then lost it last night, well, look at the total number of hours that you were working hard toward your goal, it far outshines last night. Celebrate your success, and celebrate YOU!!!

You can do this. Get right back on plan and keep drinking that water.;) I bet next week you'll be down that pound plus another 1 or 2. We all have days that we don't stick to plan. I found out last week that I CAN'T have Farley's caramels in the house. It's my "red light" food. I totally binged on caramels early last week. Next day, I "forgave" myself and got back to the WW program. I ended up losing this week. You'll be fine.:D

Annie, it is definitely not the end of the world. We all have our good days and we all have our bad. Recently after many weeks of wanting one, a Baskin Robins hot fudge Sundae that is, I caved in and ate one. And this was the day after I went to a pot luck and indulged in not one, but two pieces of homemade coconut cake. After my two day binge and going over my points I gained a pound and felt horrible. So I went to the gym, worked out a little extra, upped my water intake and within a couple of days that extra pound came off. So you see, it isn't the end of the world. Hang in there and don't beat yourself up over it, just get out there and do something to compensate for the gain.

Thanks everyone! Jiminy I went to bed after I saw your post!!!! It was easy to calm down because I had just come from my first water aerobics class at the Y. (but I had ww right before that, so the gain was still fresh in my mind)

I think my trigger may have been stress:( Long story but DBF and I may be purchasing a house from his family- well his mother, but his family wants to have a conference call about it with him on Saturday, and he just told me Sunday afternoon. I really want the call to go well, and I do hope they agree to terms we can meet, so I'm a little stressed over that, but I know I've got to find another way to deal with the stress.

I had just bought those new Quakes rings, figuring I would only eat one serving at a time...well what I didn't realize is first of all they are exactly like cheetos:rolleyes: I can never have those or chips in my house....the only thing that I can snack on that won't set me off are triscuits or baked tortillas with salsa. I had half the bag and then dumped them in the trash.

I also think I was feeling too confident, because last Friday my scale said I was down 2 pounds. I did alright for the weekend, but somehow I just blew it on Monday. I think I'm going to put the scale in the closet and just use weight watchers weigh ins. That way during the week I'll focus on the plan and exercise and hopefully that will get me where I need to go.

Thank you everyone for your support. I'm very motivated this morning and have my eating plan for the day! I know if I didn't have you all, I would have completely fallen off the wagon and rolled down into a ditch.

I'm so happy I found the WISH board!

Thanks again!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY Annie!!!

Just read your second post to this thread, and PHEW! You sound like you've pulled yourself up by the bootstraps (or whatever that saying is!) I LOVE that you threw the other half of the bag away!!!!!!! That is such a great accomplishment!!!!!!!

And I think Nancy is right - you will see a loss and then some next time you weigh in. Keep that home scale out of site!!! I only weigh on either Sunday or Monday and then on Friday to keep myself motivated through the weekend. So try to not look at the scale when you are at home.

Glad you are back on track! One "ick" day isn't going to break your whole healthy living plan!!! And it's great that you realize that you are feeling stressed from this conference call. Heck, buying a house in general is stressful, let alone buying it from family! Good luck with that! Why don't you make some time to sit and be quiet. Imagine the whole conference call going well and things falling into place for you and your DBF. And remember, if for some reason it doesn't work out, then it just means the right house for you is someplace else! :)

Looking forward to your next weigh in! Be good to yourself and make it a healthy week! :) Enjoy your next water aerobics session!!!
