I need help with CBR

Hi,

I just called Disney to book the CBR and I wanted a preferred room but there is none left for the 1st week of June. They had water view and we had a choice of Martinique or Trinidad. We will have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and want to be closest to the pool with the pirate ship, not so much worried about being close to the food court since my hubby or I will be doing the running to get food and bring it back. Could someone tell me which would be closest to the pool? Thanks!

Martinique and Trinidad North are right on either side of OPR (food court, restaurant, gift shops, and main pool). Both are very close. But those are both preferred locations. I'm not sure how you were given the option of those locations when there are no preferred rooms left. . .

Aruba and Jamaica are great non-preferred locations - a 5 minute walk to OPR.

Yeah that would make more sense. Not all of those buildings are preferred.

Can you actully book a particular building when you book at CBR? or is it just a request. that would be wonderful if you can!

I may want to stay there for our next trip but am just starting my research now.

At CBR you can book a preferred room (for a slightly extra charge) and be guaranteed a room in either Martinique or Trinidad North. Other than that it is request only. I have received my building request both times we have stayed there!

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I see you have stayed at both POFQ and CBR. which do you like better? I love POFQ for the size and bus transportation but may want to try somethign new next time.

Your location is just a request and not something you can book. You can get a water view room because that is a bookable category but the building location is just a request.

We liked them both, but like CBR better. There's nothing wrong with POFQ, we just prefer the larger more spread out lush tropical feel to CBR!
