I need help planning something special!!

I already posted this over in the disney tips section but I need all the ideas I can get. My whole family is going on a disney vaction in December. We're going on a 3 day disney cruise and then spending a week at the boardwalk resort and going to Magic Kingdom at least one day. My parents are going to be helping out with all the kids (5) (ages 1-7) every day so one night my sisters and I want to surprise them with something special just for the two of them. Any suggestions???? Thanks in advance!!!

You could try to book them a specialty cruise (the breathless would obviously be amazing, but I hear that all of them are pretty special).

Otherwise, just paying for them to go to a really nice meal alone (V and A if in your price range, or Cali Grill, Jiko, Artist Point, Narcoosee's or Citricos - none of which require park admission, or eating in the Castle, which requires admission to the MK). At that meal you could pre-order a special cake (I particularaly like the mini-wedding cake at the Grand Floridian that has a small white-chocolate castle on top - it's beautiful) or the slipper dessert to be delivered at the conclusion of their meal.

Or, buy them tickets to either the Hoop-Dee-Do Review or the Luau. OR send them to Cirque du Soleil!

There's always the carriage rides they do - I know at POR/POFQ, I'm not sure where else!

Unless you want to get them a special souvenir, or hire a photographer for a special session with some amazing backdrops.

I gave all of those suggestions without even asking what your parents' interests were, which I should have done first! It might give others more direction in their responses!
