I need help! I can't make up my mind!

on which resort for a dec 2003 stay! all of the resorts which I am thinking of I have stayed at, with the exception of 2. what I am trying to figure out which has the better xmas decorations.

I will also be taking my Mom and my aunt on this trip, so I want it to be extra special.

I would say Wilderness Lodge for decorations at Xmas with Boardwalk running a close second Good luck w/your decision!

I visted the AKL during my past holiday trip, they had very nice decorations! It looked like a nice resort. We dined at Jiko, it was excellent! Wilderness Lodge also looks neat during the holidays.

I stayed at the Contemporary over the holidays, they did have decorations, but weren't "all decked out". It was a great resort, though!

The Yacht Club and Boardwalk both had trees up. They looked nice, but nothing extravagant. The YC is just like being up in the northeast seaboard for X-mas!

Have you considered the Grand Floridian? Their Christmas decorations are awesome!

I would split the stay between Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk (in fact, we are on our next trip).

Tough call, here would be my picks in order:

1) Yacht Club
2) Contemporary
3) BoardWalk
4) AKL
5) WL

We like the atmosphere at the Yacht club, not to mention the pool, and the proximity to both Epcot and MGM,

We loved the energy and the convenience of the Contemporary.

We like the Boardwalk's theming, the pool just pales in comparison to the one at the Yacht Club, and since they are pretty much in the same location, we would opt for the Yacht Club.

Animal Kingdom Lodge has great theming, but is so darn inconvenient, especially without a car...the rooms are smallish, too.

Wilderness Lodge is my last choice and although I think that the lobby and pool are beautiful, but was not impressed by the rooms or the restaurants.

Those are just my opinions. you really have to go and experience each one to be able to form your own opinion.

WEll since staying at the BWI once before during the holidays, I may put that out of the race and split the stay between the WL or contemp(depending on rates) and the YC. The only problem is that my mom can't see the reasoning behind switching resorts. **sigh* she just doesn't get it.

I figure that if we stay half the time at an MK resort, that the other half should be at an Epcot resort. Make any sense?
