The day we go to Animal Kingdom I would like a TS on the way back to our h0thel (All Star Music)? I have Boma booked but not sure if the children will like anything (8,6,5,5, & 17). We are on the dining plan. Thanks

We ate at Boma for the first time in April and we all loved it. We have 3 kids, they were 8, 6, and 17 mos at the time. The middle one is very picky. There is a kid section with mac & cheese, fries, etc., so he ate mostly from that section. My oldest is more adventurous. You can go to allears.net and see the menu to see if your family will like it. Also, AKL is a beautiful resort to explore either before or after dinner.

While it is not a table service what about the Pepper Market at the Coronado? It is almost a cross between a table service and a counter service, plus the variety there may be helpful for picky eaters. Just a thought.....

We love Boma! :lovestruc We booked ADR's twice for our upcoming trip in fact!

We ate there the first time in September 2007, as it came highly recommended by the ADR CM and our booking CM. I was a bit nervous, having looked the menu up, but we decided to try it! :goodvibes

It was my DH and myself, as well as our 16 year old. We were a group that included one "very picky" eater, one "somewhat picky" eater, and one "not picky at all" eater. To say the least, we all enjoyed it immensley, there truly is something there for everyone!

We have to children 3 & 6 and they both eat at Boma's as well. Our 3 yr old is kind of a picky eater, but he seems to eat well there. We have it on our Dec. schedule.

Kids food seems the same no matter where you go - only the adults food seems to be a consideration.

AKL is a beautiful resort. Take a walk around to look at the animals. There are guides posted near the savannah's to answer questions and tell you about the animals. Also, find out what time the storyteller tells is story. It was around 5pm during our stay. If it's nice, he does it around the firepit, indoors if it rains. During our visit, after the story, he took the kids into the store, gave them a musical instrument (to be returned after), taught them a song, and paraded them around the lobby. The kids played and sang. It was so cute. There is also a lot of African Art around the resort.

Glad you're keeping this one. It is such an easy ride from AK to AKL. They'll give you a buzzer when you check in it should work all around the pool deck. Go to the far end of the pool deck: observation decks and a playground..w/o sand. Took our 6yo out or break while we waited to be seated. We didn't see much (one giraffe grazing, but he as able to burn a bit of energy on the playground and that is always a god thing before a meal out!
