I need GOOD earplugs!! Any suggestions??

Apparently,I snore. I've never heard it,but I have been told its a fact.I still say its the dogs......
Anyway,can someone recommend some good earplugs?

I sleep with a snorer and have tried several different types of earplugs. The ones that seem to work the best for me are the basic foam type that you can buy at any drugstore. You sort of twist one end into a point and put that end into your ear. It then expands to its original shape and fills up your ear. They are soft, so you don't really feel them when you sleep.

I also use the foam type. They are great for vacation, too, if your room is too close to the pool! I got mine at Walmart, and they come with several pairs to a package.

I use the foam type also. They are called Quiet Please and you can find them at most drugs stores. I get mine at Walmart for approx. $4.00 for 10 pairs. I have tried other types but they did not work as well.

Macks pillow soft. The package says not to break them, but I used these as a kid for swimteam (I got swimmers ear a lot) and they were too big to fit so we broke them in half. Now we use them in the louder rides and atttrations (fireworks etc) for my ds(4) who is really sensitive to loud noises. They are comfortable easy to use and block the noise!

I agree with everyone else, the foam type earplugs are the best.
I get mine in CVS. Try and find the highest rating, I try and buy a 32. This means that it blocks louder sound than the 21 would.
I am told I snore also, but I had surgery to prevent sleep apnea and the Dr said I would never snore again. Either he lied or my sons are lying.
I need to block out sound from others in the same room as me when I vacation, hallway noise, etc and the plugs work well. I never hear myself snore.

I have been using the foam plugs for years, but never noticed they had a sound rating! I will definitely have to check that out!

I am married to a snorer. He has been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and uses the CAP breathing machine. Even though I do not hear the snoring any more, the breathing machine has that swooshing -blow dryer sound. I too use the orange foam (32) plugs. They are GREAT!

Tip!!! wet a Q-tip and swab your inner ear quickly and THEN twist the plug and it goes in PERFECTLY! hee The further it goes in the quieter it is. My MY MY, it is soo quiet I hate to think if I would miss a fire alarm..........augh!!!!

PRICE TIP..........wal mart hunting section! they are hecka (Yes, I am 48 and saying Hecka) cheaper than the earplug section.

I also use the foam earplugs. They're yellow and you just roll one end of each of them in between your fingers until they come to a point, then stick them in quickly. The air re-expands them to fit snuggly in your ear. It's actually kind of weird to hear the sounds start to muffle then disappear into silence! I buy mine at our local hardware stores - Lowes and Home Depot. I'm a very light sleeper, so they definitely come in handy for all those strange hotel noises, as well as my dh's snoring. I can still hear the alarm clock and phone through them, though.

I stopped in Walmart yesterday and found the earplugs you suggested. They were ALOT cheaper (12 ina a pack for $1.67) than the ones I have been buying in CVS (6 in a pack for $2.50).
Thanks for the suggestion, I needed some for my upcoming trip.
I found them in the hardware dept, hanging from a corner rack. They are bright orange and have a sound blocking of 32.

don't forget to buy earplugs for all the other members of your group. Even though you are blocking out sound for you they might need to block the sound from you. Peggie
