I need an opinion

DS(12) loves comedy, and I'd like to surprise him with this. The most convenient place would definitely be at the Comedy Warehouse at PI. We're considering taking him to one of the earliest shows. Don't get me wrong, but this is not what I'm looking for an opinion on. What I'm wondering is whether or not the CW show by itself is worth the price of admission to PI. We probably wouldn't be going to any of the other clubs. We've considered maybe one of the earliest shows at the Adventurer's Club, but I don't know that much about it, and even if it would be that funny for DS. What do you think?

You can find pretty good discounts on the already lowered PI ticket---I think around $16 from the usual Suspects. $16 is what a two-bit town's comedy club (like mine) would charge for a mid-level act, so I'd say it's probably worthwhile.

If its the suprise for your son that you're after, don't sweat the cost. Have the magical moment.

My husband and I went to the comedy warehouse on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! Definitly worth the price, or maybe you could get a ticket with PI admission included?
