I thawed out ground beef and I want to make something different but quick and easy. I was going to make Bisquick cheeseburger pie but I just remember DH telling me he wasn't a big fan of it! Everyone always posts such great recipes!! :teeth:

Spagetthi, hamburger, and meatballs.
Do you have alot of time to prepare your meal? If so, you could make lasagna.

Ground meat and beans (kind of like a goulash) I usually make it over noodles or mashed potatoes.

but it's one of those recipes that you add the ingredients by taste though...

A can of diced tomatoes including juice
a can of green beans, drained
frozen or canned corn.

Brown meat, drain off fat, throw in the above ingredients.

My kids love this one.

Not really. I wanted something different. We have spaghetti all the time. I thought about doing lasagna but I don't have enough time.

My kids love hamburger gravy.

brown the hamburger
mix with on can of cream of whatever soup (mushroom, chicken, etc)
2cups milk
1/4 cup flour to thicken the sauce a bit
1 onion browned with the hamburger

serve over noodles or mashed potatoes.

mmmmm! That sounds good. Almost like shepards pie!

DH likes easy chili - it's just

hamburger
1 can kidney beans
1 can condensed beef broth
1/2 c water
small tomato paste
small tomato sauce
and chili powder

Here’s a pretty easy one….

I don’t have a “real” recipe for this….I just make it on a whim.

Ingredients:
Ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of chicken (or chicken noodle)
Velveeta cheese
1 can Rotel

Tortilla chips
Shredded cheese

Brown ground beef
In another pot, mix all the other ingredients together (except the shredded cheese and tortilla chips) and heat until Velveeta melts. Drain the ground beef and mix in beef with other mixture.

Layer some tortilla chips in the bottom of a nine inch casserole dish. Put enough of the above ingredients to cover the chips. Put another layer of tortilla chips, then another layer of mixture.

When you get to the top, cover with shredded cheese.

Put it in the oven at about 300 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Serve with picante sauce.

How about taco salad? Brown meat, drain, and mix w/ taco seasoning and water. Simmer. Once it is cooled a bit, mix the meat with lettuce, tomatos, cheese, frito chips, and whatever else you like.

Here's a few:

Sloppy Joes
Brown 1 pound ground beef
Add 1 can tomato soup
1/4 cup of water
worcestershire sauce

Hamburg Casserole
Brown 1 pound ground beef
add 1 can tomato soup
1/4 cup of water
1 can green beans
Bake in 350 oven for 30 min
Usually top with Mashed potatoes

I am not sure if your DH will like this, but it is super easy and my DH and kids love it :confused3 Brown ground meat and add a can or two or corn. That's it! I serve it with rice and they add ketchup.

Here is quick family favorite of ours... brown the ground beef, make a box of Uncle Bens's wild rice and then combine the two.

There has been a few like this already, we call it beefy mushroom

Brown beef, drain
add a can of cream of mushroom soup and some then milk (as much as the can) mix. Add a dash of worhschiter sause and dried onions.

Serve with pasta (we like Penne) Add some frozen peas if you like. Corn would work too.

I can do this dairy free by using Imagine brand cream of mushroom soup (vegan, soy based, sold at Whole foods and other places like that.)

Everyone always loves it.

Lots of good ones. It's making me hungry!!! Whatever recipes I don't use tonight, I'll keep for future use!

I make a casserole with ground beef ( I sometimes use Italian sausage), diced or stewed tomatoes, elbow macaroni and grated sharp cheddar
