hey im kinda tall 4 my age and most guys r too short for me so theres this one ok tall guy that i dont really like but my friends think that i should go out with him but i dont want to so help

Height truly does matter when you get older. I can't think of any couples I know where the girl is taller than the guy.

Well about the tall thing I think its better if the guys taller or the couple is the same size but thats my opinion although I do wish I was taller im 5 foot 1-3 inchs Im not sure how many inchs but its in between that 1-3 rank o well. I think you should give the guy a shot you said he was ok and if it dosent work it dosent work you know at least you gave it a shot

According to your profile, you are only 12. remember that boys mature slower then girls, and by the time you're a freshman in high school (or maybe later), most of the boys in your school will be a lot taller then you.

If you don't like a guy, then don't go out with him! Your friends shouldn't make your decisions for you.

And if you like a guy who's shorter than you, who cares? If you're only 12, a lot of the guys who are shorter than you now will get taller over the next few years. I know a few girls who were taller than all the guys in jr high, but they stopped growing by high school, and the guys didn't. I don't really think that height should matter anyway.

height shouldn't matter in a relationship. a relationship is not based on how tall you are, but on your feelings for each other. if you really don't like this guy, there should be no reason that you should be forced into going out with him, especially just because he's tall.
and also like its been said, you're only 12...theres time for the other guys to grow! don't let your friends make you do anything you don't want to!

It's what seems "normal" to most people and most of society in general. But really, height shouldn't matter in a relationship no matter how much taller or shorter you are then the other person.
