I have to stop looking at this lol

I had planned Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, and Boma. Then I looked at all the rest and realized we have alot of ADR's where you don't get to pick. (family style or buffet mostly)

So I started looking again for our Dec trip.

So which ones would you chose out of

Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
Boma
Coral Reef
Concourse Steak House
Grand Floridian Cafe.

I have to pick 3.

These are all for dinners for 7 people. 3 adults, 16 yr, 14 yr, 12 yr, & 3 yrs.

I'm not overly concerned about Character interaction since the 3 yr old will be there in Sept and get to go to all these places for dinner then too.

Boma-for atmosphere and unusual selection!
Coral Reef-for awesome dining experience under the sea!
Crystal Palace-fun, pretty, good food

Boma
Coral Reef
Chef Mickey's (it's a rule- you MUST eat with Mickey at least once during every trip!:rotfl: )

Hey- this is my 500th post. Do I get tagged yet?:rolleyes1

Ok so that's 2 for Boma which was one of my original picks since we haven't eaten there. and 2 for Coral Reef which was in my second line up but sounds neat because of the fish and divers !

Anyone want to help chose between Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. We've eaten at Crystal Palace before. But not Chef Mickey's. Hmmm. Maybe we should try Chef Mickey's.

Coral Reef, Boma and GF Cafe. But if you're stuck between CM and CP, I'd choose Crystal Palace. The food's better.

I would say definitely Boma. :thumbsup2 I ate there 2 years ago and thought it was great! Very nice ambiance and alot of different foods...there's something for everyone and the Zebra Domes are out of this world! If you decide to go to Boma, arrive earlier than your reservation time and walk around the resort...it's beautiful and there are so many areas to just stop and look at the animals on the Savanna. My next choice would be the Grand Floridian Cafe. I'm going for lunch in December w/DBF, so we're looking forward to that as we've never eaten there before. With your group, and the kids, I'd be inclined to do either Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. I did Chef Mickey's 2 years ago and it wasn't bad. It does get a bit loud, though. Haven't been to the Crystal Palace for quite some time but from what I've heard, everyone likes it. Hope this helps :)

I'm going to agree with all of these choices.

First off--I don't care to go to buffets with 12 and 14 year olds. This is totally my issue but my teens are not good/adventurous eaters and I hate to pay close to $30 for them to eat off the kiddy buffet. So, I've cut back on my buffets for now (great deal with the younger kids though).

But Boma is so good and different that I can't skip it.

Next would be Grand Floridian Cafe. I like the atmosphere and the choice of dishes here. The 12 year old could order off the kids menu if he/she was not full into adult entrees yet.

Coral Reef--Haven't eaten here in years but another 'atmosphere' thing going here which I LOVE.

The other places you have selected are just typical buffet food. Also, my kids are now 15 and 12 and really don't get much into the characters anymore. They like to have one meal with them but that's about it.

Does it have to be dinner? Because I'd rather eat breakfast at Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. Especially CP around 8 a.m. to enter the MK early.
