Hi! Which one is good in case I want to edit my recordings?. I would like to be able to prepare a DVD with music, slide shows, and video about my trips. Thanks in advance

That's an awfully broad request. There are dozens and dozens of possible models.

What's your budget? Do you want high definition? How important is low light capability? Do you want to record on tapes, mini-DVDs, memory cards, or a hard drive? Do you want something easy to use or something that gives you lots of control?
