I need ADRA aka Advanced Dining Reservations Anonymous

I need help really bad... I had it all worked out 180 days out, but now I keep adding new stuff, I just added CRT for our first morning at 8:20, and I keep looking, Not sure what I am looking for... lol..... I want to book a dessert party when they come out, I may break the bank if I keep on... Hello My name is wendy and I have an ADR problem.... lol

Please pardon me if this has been asked before, but I can't figure out why dining ressies open at 180 days? Before park hours are finalized, before party dates are announced, before promos are offered... I remember a LONG time ago (80's?) when the ressie process for restaurants in Epcot had guests calling on the same day or going to guest services that morning. Which I can imagine is a nightmare for restaurant staffing, but there has to be a happy-medium between 180 days and same-day?:confused3:confused:

My name is disneyvoice and I'm an ADRaholic.

Seriously, I totally understand. I do EXACTLY the same thing. I am perfectly happy with my ADRs and then I decide to "just take a look at what else might be available." Then I see something that we haven't tried or is another tried and true favorite and before I know it, BAM, we are eating somewhere else. But I'm really happy with the new ADR . . . until I decide to just take a peek . . . :rotfl:

Because that's the way Disney does it.

I just looked back at my email folder for my last trip. I made 9 ADRs at the 180 mark and ended up keeping 3 of them. By the time my trip was done, I ended up with 9 cancellations, 8 of which were replaced by something else. I might have a planning addiction.

My best advice is never drop your CG or Ohana ADRs until the last minute. If you cancel and want them back, you will never get them at the time you want.

I know, I was thinking about earlier Ohana but all times are taken, I will just keep it as it is.... :) I changed my Liberty tree to later, but now I might change it earlier before MNSSHP..... right now I have 5:40, but maybe need 4:30.... decisions decisions....
