I need to find some time to squeeze in a pedi, and this weekend is all about packing.

I have been a bit nervous about doing this for the first time and putting the right types of info in so your feedback is appreciated! Sounds like you have a trip planned too. I highly recommend the pedi! I commiserate with the packaging part. I just got back from my trip and my DH asked me what we were doing this weekend and I said packing.

Since he hoards his $$ he asked if he could get the 2nd pair if he paid for them himself. You sure can, kid

Hooray for the boys! I think getting their own stuff with their own money makes them appreciate it more.

I love that pattern and looks like you had a nice Mother's Day!

The reason I ended up with three bags was the pattern. I couldn't decide which one I liked best.

I just want to say that I have really enjoyed reading all your plans and I think you've done a fantastic job on your first PTR I was extremely nervous when I started my first TR in January and I did learn a few things from it lol. Getting down to the wire

Well there are no weekends left to get things done. This is it! Ok, let me set the stage. I am on business trip it is Thursday coming home Friday, I am getting pictures of temperature readings and frantic calls from DH. Turns out my oldest DS has a temperature greater than 102 and his neck hurts. So, I go into mom mode and think the worst - does his have a serious illness or just the flu. Well, several conversations later with the determination that the temperature goes down with Motrin he just must have flu. What is funny is my DH has no idea how to call anyone into school for an absence, has never had to it. Good thing I make sure those numbers are in my contacts. Looks like a 24 hr thing and DS actually could go to work this weekend. Bad thing is that I think my DH has it. Let's hope it doesn't sweep through the rest of use. I have been furiously disinfecting all the surfaces in the house of course after I went and got my pedicure and no chip. Which means we can go on vacation as I got my number one thing done.


Updated To Do List:

1. Pedicure ~ Done - only crisis point was what colors for my toes. Stayed in the box and got my normal dark red but went off the board for my no chip. Got a French tip with blue sorbet as the tip colors.
1.A Kindle Crisis Resolution ~ This is just OK - it works fine when wireless is turned off but goes immediately to empty when downloading or looking for books
2. Pick our MB colors - Done!
3. Fast+ Passes - Done! ~ saved one for AK show if they release any for the nighttime show but haven't seen anything yet
4. Weather Watch - Ongoing - looks like will be warm and raining like typical May weather; funny note here my youngest DS asked if going to rain he is still traumatized from June 2013 trip when it rained all week due to a tropical storm
5. Order MB covers - Done!
6. Vacation clothes review - Done!
7. New tennis shoes for crew - Done!! ~ Big bonus here and got new Vera Bradley bags
8. Evaluation of current swimwear -Done!!
9. Sun Screen Evaluation - Done!
10. Change ADRs - Done! ~ However still looking for a BOG lunch, hoping someone will let one go this week.
11. Finalize tentative schedule - Done! ~ Still trying to figure out the evening stuff, sometimes we take that as it comes. If we are too tired we go, with the park hoppers lets us be impulsive.
12. Final Payment - Done!!
13. Toiletry Review for crew - Done!
14. Add CB to DB - Done!
15. Ensure everything clean before in bags - Done - I am good to go, the rest may be nekid ~ I expect they will still be doing this at midnight before we go.
16. Stage days in travel bags (space bags) ~ Started - this is a last minute thing too
17. Pack/Weigh Bag
18. Pack Carry Ons - Started
19. Remember SW Drink Tickets (will need it by then) and Disney Rewards Card
20. Get to Disney to have fun and a Dole Whip Float!

Well, I haven't been sleeping well because of this stuff going on. I just need to get to the point where it doesn't matter any more and we will just deal with what comes. Anything we forget won't be a big deal as we will be on vacation.

Ugh, Christopher had that same flu/virus/whatever last week. It was weird, fever of 102 for almost 3 days that went down with Motrin, then the 4th day fever of 100 for a few hours and then - nothing. His head, neck, and stomach hurt, not throwing up hurt but like pains. Dr. said not the flu though just a virus. Luckily nobody else here got it! Hope your DH feels better soon -

I will say though it is MUCH better to be sick BEFORE you leave! I know I mentioned it briefly in my PTR but remember I got that terrible stomach bug in WDW last year on Thanksgiving day? Ruined the whole day Put a damper on the day after and our last morning, too. So as long as everyone is good to go when you leave or at least on the mend, that's the way I'd want it

Are you done packing yet mom?

Well as tomorrow is the day, I need to do everything tonight. I just got back from my business trip this afternoon and was doing some last minute checking to see if anything exciting came out about AK next week. Doesn't look like any news.

Everyone is on edge here as they know I am going into OCD packing mode. Nobody has anything in a bag even me. I have piles of stuff everywhere though. They are just waiting for their name to be called. They really pack their stuff I just supervise. Someday the boys will appreciate that, I hope.

The funny thing on the way home today I was checking out the SW drink selections to determine my beverage of choice for the flight tomorrow. I guess I am ahead of myself. Really looking foward to a nice family vacation.

Well your pixie dust worked! We had a wonderful time and the weather was beautiful. It didn't rain once (well sprinkles.) This made up for that awful trip we had one June where it rained buckets everyday, all day. I do plan I doing a TR and will post a link here when more organized. Right now doing the mounds of laundry and the unpacking thing.

However, wanted to give a preview on the packing thing. We used the space bags and wanted to show you how handy they are. This is AJ's stuff.
