Wow, my day is getting better!!! I have spent the last three hours helping the kids write their valentines. I actually thought about your DD when I was doing this, and was wondering if she got a ring for Christmas, what will she get for Valentines???

Still not sure how you lost power and I didn't, at least not that I want to admit to - I did have a full day to prep for your return!!!

My crew left at 3:30am. I was concerned about the LA rush hour traffic on the 91. I wanted to be there when the park opened. We hit some traffic but pulled into the HOJO's at 8:45am. We checked in went up to the hotel and headed off to the park. I was going to leave Andrea a picture at the front desk of a drawing of a happy face with glasses but we were too excited and wanted to get to the park. So we walk and I have to say it wasnt too bad of a walk. We are use to staying a little closer but it' wasnt awful....until coming home that night.

OK I am going to ignore everyone and do this.

So we get there and I buy my 1day 1 park tickets and was shocked at how low it was. I have not bought anything but AP's for a few years. We line up watching all the lucky people go into the park for EE. Lucky ducks. When the gates open we take a quck picture of dd with goofy and I wander into the first shop before rope drop. Wouldnt you know it. I'm on a budget trip and there is a whole new line of Bambi merchandise just begging me to purchase it. Shoot. The willpower that one day was amazing. I almost caved twice.

At rope drop we rushed towards Peter Pan as I was trying to to cry to the music "Welcome to our family time" I love that song. Andrea loves it just as much as I do as I found out at the parade.

Ahhh EE Peter Pan had a 35 minute wait but gotta do it! Then the kids wanted to go on Snow White. I tried to convince them to head to more crowded rides early but they won. They pretty much dictated the day as usual. It's DL why shouldnt they???

After Snow White we headed over to SM to get fastpasses and then to Autopia. I wasted half my life in that line as they said FP's would not be available that day. GREAT. One of the worst lines and my kids HAVE to go on it. Oh well, it was fun driving with both in the car. After that we went on Buzz. We love that one. I scored about 290,000. Dh always gets over 400K. I dont know how.

Then I called Andrea who was just getting to the HOJO. I accused her of sleeping in and leaving late so she wouldnt have bags under her eyes like I did. She said yes that was the plan. Of course I knew that as her stalker. After a quick check on my GPS to see where dizzyami was we wer off to Pizza Port.

Andrea gave me funnygarcia's phone number so I called her and said we would be at Pizza Port and that I had long blonde hair and a grey Mickey t-shirt on. Point out that I described half the park she found us anyway.

So funnygarcia got the pleasure or unpleasure of watching my own insane hyenas eat lunch or well, run around the water mister with food in their mouth. Then we head to Star Tours. Dd LOVES this but ds was a little nervous. He said it made his tummy hurt. This time he didnt get too ill. He was so excited that his tummy didnt hurt afterwards. I think he'll go again.

From there we went to Fantasyland. As funnygarcia said we were in line for the "funny ride" (what son calls Alice in Wonderland). He tried to tell us why it's called the funny ride and they were pretty funny reasons. Andrea called and we waved at her on the teacups. Afterwards we all rode the Matterhorn with her friend that was very nice as well and her kids. Dd was very nervous for this and I felt bad because I would have sat with her but I couldnt leave ds alone and he is too shy to sit with anyone else. So they sat together. I had my arm back holding their hands the whole time. They did alright. From there we did IASW where I got an evidence shot of Andrea and garcia snapped a shot of me. NOT AUTHORIZED to print the stalkers picture by the way!!!

It was in line of Matterhorn where Albort Texted me a message. OK I'm only 32 but I have no clue how to text. I am a talker on the phone. I tried to write back something funny/sarcastic like No we are not having fun at all but I could only get my phone to do "NO come" That was it. The darned thing wouldnt let me type what I wanted to type. I need to read the manual. Then he texted back in the line for IASW "who is with you?" Right like I can do names on this phone. I did what every girl would do and CALL.

After IASW we went to Toontown. We toured Minnie's house and Mickey's house and did Gadget's Go Coaster. garcia and I had to squish into those seats. I dont even sit with dh on this one. It is NOT made for 2 adults. The kids were all seated with eachother in the front. It was pretty cute. After that we met Albort.

Albort how old are you? I pictued you about 20 but you dont look a day over 15. I'm not good with ages. So he is the only guy besides my son there. I'm not sure they thought it was lucky odds though. Andrea and clan went on Roger Rabbits and we headed to knock out our must do list. BTMRR here we come. Garcia and Albort didnt ride this with us so after waiting in line and riding it we looked for them but they had disappeared. I LOVE BTMRR by the way. I'm so excied ds can ride it now and we can do it as a family.

Anyway, we come off the ride and look around. No garcia no Albort. After searching for about 5 minutes we decide to go to Pirates. I had to get this must do list done as I was only there 1 crazy day. The kids LOVe pirates. I was a little sad on it because it is dh's FAVORITE RIDE and he wasnt there but we called and bragged about it to him afterwards. We got some booty (merchandise ) in the Pirate store for ds's birthday party this weekend. I also bought a sticker for the back of dh's truck! Then we head to HM

Ds loves this ride except this trip. For some reason I had to drag him on it. He was scared. Yes, I am the mean mom who selfishly drags her son on rides that he's too scared to go on for my own enjoyment. Anyway, he settled down half the way through and enjoyed it. Maybe it was because daddy wasnt there. After that we head to Pooh. A little more his taste.

Then we went over to Tarzan's treehouse and walked that 3 times. MY rear needed the exercise so I didnt mind. I get a message up there from garcia who has been searching with Albort for us. I guess it didnt come through because of Pirates and HM. I dont get reception in there. Sooo, I tell them by another message we are headed to 5:20 pm show of Tiki Room. I almost fell asleep in this. I was sooooo tired.

After tiki room the kids were not excited about jungle cruise so we head back to fantasyland. We hit dumbo and then meet up with garcia at this point. After Mr Toads and Casey Jr. Yes I did make her be a wild animal with us! We met Andrea and company for the parade.

I LOVE this parade. The music gets me everytime. The floats that stopped for us were Beauty and the Beast and then Lion King. Very cool. Dd was excited to see "her" princesses. We didnt do fantasy faire and I told them 1 day means no autographs because we wouldn't have time for rides.

Ha I told Andrea that maybe if I had known you a little longer and we had hung out together more I might have gotten you to go with me. Also maybe if it hadnt been a stalker who offered to drive you!

Next time, I'm not doing 1 day. OR I'm sleeping in on the 2nd day instead of leaving early. more on that later.......

So we couldnt get the girls to commit to SM and my son for that matter so we didnt do that and headed back to Peter Pan as a group. Oh, Albort had already gone home before I met up with Garcia and she left after the parade to hit the rides. You go at a slower pace with kids. Anway, back to Peter Pan. 3 6 year olds in one ship was too cute. I wish I would have had my camera out for a picture of that. Ds was so upset he couldnt sit with dd. At this point he was so tired he was losing it for no reason. I dont blame him. After Peter Pan it's 7:55pm and Andrea and company head back to the hotel to get some sleep and catch up on Greys Anatomy. SHE tells me the park is open til 9pm so I am blaming missing SM on HER!!!

I decide to stay with my crew for that nonexistent 1 more hour and we head over to do the carousel. ON this ride the kids both say they are ready to do SM. YESSSSS!!! I really wanted to see the Rockin' version. I explain I cant sit with both of them so either dd will have to be brave and sit by herself or they can sit together and I'll sit by myself. 3 is sometimes an issue at theme parks. Anyway, we head over to Tomorrowland and it's closed I told them that was it for the day. We've ended about 5 trips with the carousel so I said it was only fitting that we ended this one with that as well. We hit the Emporium and didnt find what we wanted so we head over to World of Disney to find the extra souvies we missed earlier in the day. I was planning on heading to Goofy's to see if I could find anyone that was meeting for dinner but ds fell asleep in the stroller as we were exiting the park and dd was very tired. We stayed in World of Disney browsing wishing we had hit the lottery before we left so we could buy EVERYTHING! Dd said she could not walk back to the hotel and I needed to carry her. Um OK. For those of you who havent met us she is extremely tall for her age. Looks more like an 8 year old than 6 and she is solid muscle from dance so she weighs about 59 lbs. OMG my back hurt from carryng her piggy back so I switched to shoulders. We made quite a funny looking pack with me hunched over pushing the stroller with sleeping son and full of packages in basket and dd on shoulders or back. I stopped off at McDonalds to bring food up to the hotel room and somehow we got everything back up to the hotel. I wanted had trouble sleeping because I was OVERLY tired. ds never woke up when I changed him and dd fell asleep immediately after hitting the bed. I had every intention of sleeping in but I woke up at 3:30 am and decided to hit the road about 4:30 to get dd to school. She wanted to go so bad and since she is in PM kindy we made it home in time. I bet her teacher is happy with her. She's probably exhausted and not paying attention. Actually she slept most of the way home so she should be OK.

Now to my bad story about going home. We were past Blythe and I was passing a semi and it decided to change lanes! We were forced off the road into the median. I dont know how I avoided going down in the ditch or flipping over. I was so scared. After that I was in such a hurry to get home. I was talking to dh on the phone and guess what???? I got a speeding ticket and because I didnt have current insurance with me. (its sitting on my desk at home ) he gave me a ticket for that too! SOOO I have 2 tickets in LaPaz county that I have to deal with now. I guess I can daydream about DL while in traffic school.

When I got home I jumped on the computer before getting dd showered and off to school!!!! I'm sick and addicted.

We had a great time. Everyone was just as I pictured them (of those who I saw) Except Albort. Why do guys always look so young??? No matter what age they are.

At one point I asked Andrea if she was afraid of me in my and I think she was pretty nervous the whole time. I threatened to watch her with them on during IASW but I didnt follow through with the threat. I like to catch her off guard not just sit behind her. Oh yeah I'm smooth like that!

Oh I gave Andrea my camera because she had this great idea to take a picture of the hyenas on IASW and use as our mascot/logo in our signature. I'll post the picture later if someone knows how to write on it or around it to make a logo. I'm not very computer creative.

the weather was beautiful. light clouds on and off. We were in jeans and t-shirt til the sun went down.

Yes I thought about that after and I started laughing when I went to the Anne Geddes site for usual spy time, but you guys weren't there. And the store was empty so there was nobody for me to spy on so I tried out the Howard Johnson mattercam or whatever. I was able to see the weather but thats about it from that cam. They should put a webcam on mainstreet or something in DL that only I will have a password to so I can spy on more ppl.
