I need a song that can be played while mike and I walk down the aisle

Thanks in advanced

Disney related or non-Disney?
Instrumental only or with words?

another one bites the dust :confused3

:lmao:
Or the Imperial March!

It's really hard to pick something like that out for people you don't know... I think it should either be personal that everyone in attendance will "get" or something traditional.

Going to the chapel
Into my arms

Walking back down the aisle AFTER you get married?

We used "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm yours" By Stevie Wonder...

Walking back down the aisle after getting married, we used the Vitamin String Quartet version of "All you need is love" by the Beatles.

Do the two of you have a "special" song - that always reminds you of one another? If so, you could go with something like that..

What type of music do you both enjoy? Do you want just music - or words?

Maybe the two of you could spend some time on the computer - visiting the various sites where you can listen to music without purchasing it - and see if anything catches your fancy..

There are so many beautiful songs out there - I'm sure you'll find just the right one..:goodvibes

When I got married, I wanted the Hawaiian Wedding Song, but my wife insisted on the traditional Wedding March. I did get my way after the ceremony as we were walking back down the aisle.

I was thinking it had to be instrumental but knowing it can have words gives me more choices and I did not even think of the song walking back down the aisle after the ceremony

Billy Joel has written 2 of my all time favorite loves songs, "Honesty" and "Just the way you are."

I also love the Bee Gees "Run to me", "How deep is your love."

Andy Gibb, "I just want to be your everything."

Yes - you definitely have choices.. After all, it is your wedding day! :lovestruc

If the songs are ones that are special to you and Mike, that's all that really counts.. And - if you're going to have a recpetion (with music) - don't forget to choose another special song for your "first dance".. :lovestruc

Have fun choosing! :goodvibes

"just the way you are" was my 2nd choice for our 1st dance song! We decided on "Endless Love" by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey.

My hubby and I walked back down the aisle after getting married to How Deep Is Your Love!!! It was fabulous!

Where are you from? When is your wedding day?

DFi and I really wanted to use the Imperial March when we're introduced for the reception! But we decided to go with family introductions using the main Star Wars theme, and he and I will be introduced to the Indiana Jones theme.

We're not entirely traditional, and our family/friends know how much we love our rock-n-roll. So for our processional, we're using the first 90 seconds of Christmas Canon Rock by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It's really just Pachelbel's Canon in D, but with rock guitars and drums.

We're on the fence about the recessional. The ceremony and reception are in the same place; the guests will all be sitting at their tables during the ceremony, and it will be really weird for us to walk out, then back in for photos. So we don't know if we really need a recessional.

And our first song is Lovesong by The Cure

You8ve made me so very happy

Blood Sweat and Tears cover of an old Brenda Holloway blues standard.

I lost at love before
Got mad and closed the door
But you said "Try, just once more"

I chose you for the one
Now we're having so much fun
You treated me so kind
I'm about to lose my mind
You made me so very happy
I'm so glad you came into my life

The others were untrue
But when it came to loving you
I'd spend my whole life with you

'Cause you came and you took control
You touched my very soul
You always showed me that
Loving you is where it's at
You made me so very happy
I'm so glad you came into my life
Thank you, babe
Yeah, yeah

I love you so much you see
You're even in my dreams
I can hear you
I can hear you callin' me
I'm so in love with you
All I ever want to do is
Thank you babe, thank you babe

[Instrumental Interlude]

You made me so very happy
I'm so glad you came into my life
You made me so very happy
You made me so so, so very happy, babe
I'm so glad you came
Into my life

I want to thank you, girl
Every day of my life
I want to thank you
You made me so very happy...
