help I need a pic of the ssr pig , i cant find one , i want to finsh my scrapbook for my sis, i just need a pic not to big not to little, if you have a link or just post a pic i could copy great, i seen one and i cant find now.......

I ordered one from the Vermont Company before Christmas and needless to say it was out of stock. However, they did sent it later. I found out about this New Year's Day traditional too late! BUT, I have saved my pig, and the velvet bag, and the little hammer and will take it with me to SSR next month. We are going to "pretend its New Years Day" during our vacation and "break" our pig there.

I was told by one of the associates at the Vermont Store that if you wanted a "Peppermint Pig" for New Years, that you should order it by September. Learn something new everyday! I recently asked a friend of mind, who was raised in Saratoga, and she was very familiar with the "Pig."

I did an add on at SSR, and couldn't stand it.

I ordered a Pepermint Pig (PP) through Marshall Fields here in Chicago, and then also sent on to my FIL (he's been DVC since 1992 - OWK).

It is corney - but really fun. Only problem was one child is diabetic, and didn't see a "sugarless" PP....

when you visit the ssr store they have them displayed in the middle of the store i think they were $13.00, dsis and i were going to buy one but we decided instead of lugging it home and back at christmas we would just buy one when we stay during christmas. i cant wait, i actually am sorry now that i didnt buy one, now that we also added on to ssr it would have been nice to celebrate our addon with a pink pig.lol
we did get samples at mh and dsis said we couldnt try it that it was for the kids. each month we are sending the kids a piece of the puzzle sorta speaking about our christmas trip, we are doing a family reuion at christmas and we have family coming from all over.
