I need a new washer and dryer!

Okay, so I need a new washer, but am getting a new dryer, too.

I am considering the Fisher and Paykel EcoSmart Washer and AeroSmart dryer - the washer is a top loader, has auto-water leveling, no agitator, it sprays/bounces your clothes to clean them. The coolest thing about the dryer is that it is a top loader - I think that will help with the space utilization in my laundry room.

I'm also considering the Whirlpool Cabrio steam washer and steam dryer - haven't done as much research on this, but it seems very similar to the cleaning method as the Fisher and Paykel.

Would also consider a front loading pair, but I just haven't researched those yet.

For a price point, these are in the $1600/pair price range.

Laundry room, for size considerations is around 9 feet by 6.5 feet, but is a separate room, not a walk through like many are.

Does anyone have these, or any suggestions/comments for anything else I should look at?

I have the Fisher-Paykel washer/dryer and I love them!!!! (so much so that I bought another set for my summer home). They do a wonderful job, have been super reliable and everyone who comes to visit and uses them LOVES them. Good luck!

both my cousin and my best friend have the Whirlpool Cabrio - they both really really like them.

I've only used my friend's once and it did a wonderful job on my bed comforter that was covered in cat hair.

I have the Cabrio, not the steam one though, and I love it! We've seen our water and electric bills go down since we started using them!
