I'm going back to WDW (and then on to DL) in February!

I was just looking through my autograph book and there are only 2 blank pages left after my last 2 trips. I'm gonna need a new one!!! :woohoo: I hope you can help me with some quick questions...

What are the autograph books like this year? Do they still have the small blue ones with the Mickey and the gang on the front? :)

Do they still sell the Mickey Mouse Marker Sets? They are felt-tip marker pens in a green and clear plastic case with a zip on the side. They are the best thing ever for collecting autographs! :thumbsup2 The book fits inside with room for about 8 of the markers. Your autographs will be all different colours and according to Alice, the blue one smells really good!!! If I'm honest I kinda agree. :rotfl2:

Thanks very much. I'm SOOOO excited!!! :cloud9:

They had them all over the place. I got a set on Main Street, but one didn't work very well and when I mentioned it at the Swan Hotel they gave me another set! Good old Disney! I really hope they still sell them!!!

These are the markers I'm going on about...

I'm going to WDW and I'm obsessing over pens. :rotfl2: If you know anything, please let me know.

Have you thought about creating your own autograph book? My DD and I are having a blast creating one for our February trip. We just completed an EPCOT passport section. We put in different images for each country and left a blank page for the CMs to write stuff. We really wanted to do something different than the masks, again.

Next, we're going to work on the autograph section of the book. I'm not sure how we will do it. I'd like images in the corner, but I can't decide what to put. Mickey on every page might get a little boring.

We will have the book spiral bound at Staples or a copy shop. It should run about $1.00.

I made an autograph book too using images of characters printed on 4 x 6 unlined index cards. I made a special card for non-characters (CMs, etc.). My plan is to put them in a Disney "Where dreams come true" photo album along with pictures taken with each character. If you use this approach, you'll need a mini clipboard to make it easier for characters to sign the cards.

Each country in World Showcase EPCOT has a "Kidcot" station where kids can get a paper mask that is on a stick (like a paint stirring stick), they can color the mask, and each country has a different paper 'charm' that is attached, the also stamp the back of the mask or stick a different stamp for each country. You can purchase a Passport book with info about each country, and get those stamped as well - like a real passport. It sounds like some folks make pages in a book along with their autograph pages for these stamps.

I hope I explained that well.

It's a fun way to get the kids interested in visiting each of the countries.

Have a great time on your trip!

thanks so much martha!!!:goodvibes That sounds like something our family would really enjoy!!!!!

I am beginning to get sick just anticipating this trip...(is that normal:lmao: ) HAHAHA!

Thanks!!

Making autograph books sounds like a lot of fun, but I like those new ones way too much! :rotfl: Maybe I'll try and customise it a bit.

Have a great time in 16 days learnhome!!! :woohoo:

We bought the Pirate autograph book for DS5 and we also went to the Belz Outlet and they had the gold ones that you put photos on 1 side and character signs the other side for only $3.50.

I know what you mean about needing a new autograph book, we haven't done those yet, but I need a new Disney photo album, I only have a couple of pages left to put photos in. :)
