I need a little help, please...

I have a contract for a re-sale at BWV that is being processed. I am also working with a Disney guide on a possible BCV purchase. I have questions about the way the DVC system works and I've been posting them here and in other forums. I've also been calling various Disney people and bugging them.

I inquired about getting a copy of the guide book but was told that they are hard bound and expensive. My guide suggested that I ask about using someone's log on and password to get into the DVC site because the guide book is there online.

Would someone be kind enough to let me use their logon and password until I get my own? You can contact me privately at caylor@concentric.net

John, tell your guide that the hard bound Member's Guide disappeared a year ago. The new version is softbound.

Bottom line, though, is that you will get faster, and in most cases more accurate information from this board to your questions. If you have a resale pending, you will get a hard copy of the Member's Guide soon.

And, the minute you close and DVC has your papers, they will give you the userid and password over the phone.

And the logon code is not specific to each person. If your guide wants you to have it he/she can give it to you with no problem. I'd call him/her back.

Someone was kind enough to e-mail the logon and password to me privately. After looking at the site briefly I don't see what the big secret is. All of the info on that site is talked about freely in this and many other forums.

I am very grateful to the person that provided the information so quickly. I'm sure it will generate more questions.
