It's looking like our group will be up to 19 people. Not everyone will be present during the entire week though. I've never rented a house, but I think it might be the best deal for us. Are there any out there that will accommodate all of us or should I be looking for 2 houses (they would need to be next to each other)? Any recommendations for such a large group?

Some of the houses off 192 have six or seven bdrms.....maybe Windsor Hills or Acadia Estates.....I believe Acadia may have the larger houses. Check on www.allearsnet.com for the All Star Homes website. Deb has quite a lot of info on Allears about renting a home from All Stars. We're probably going to be looking into a house for Spring 2009 for a large group also (not 19 though.....maybe 14 and same as you, maybe not everyone for the entire week. Since we're DVC we initially thought maybe we'd get a Grand Villa or a two bedroom and several studios, but, we think we'll be better off with a big house and at least six bedrooms, maybe seven. The area these two developments are located is actually very close to WDW by using Sherbeth Road (comes out right near AK) to access Osceola Parkway. You can be onsite in about five minutes. Good luck with your search.......

Generally speaking 7 bedrooms that sleep up to 16 are the largest so you may well have to go for 2 5 or 6 bed homes next door or close to each other .Most owners will know their neighbours so ask when you find a home that suits.Bear in mind that each owner will probably have different charges so you may have to sort out the payment arrangements between yourselves if you all want to pay the same amount .For example my neighbour and myself have different charges because I have more facilities than he does but there is nearly always a way to work round these type of snags.

Formosa Gardens has the biggest homes, up to 9 bedrooms. This is one of them:

But Emerald Island, Acadia Estates, Rolling Hills, Terra Verde and Hampton Lakes all have up to 7 bedrooms. This site will show you homes that are side by side:

The site map has other groupings: http://www.fhvr.net/sitemap.htm
Also a map of the area to show where the subdivisions are:

Good luck! :)
