Has anyone ever bought anything off the internet and had it shipped to their resort avoiding the ridiculous shipping charges to Canada? I want to buy a Baggallini messenger bag (cause everyone here says I have to have one!)and they have free shipping. How long ahead of time do you think I'd need to order to ensure it would be there for my arrival? :umbrella:

I looked on the net same as you did and almost died when I saw the cost of shipping & tax etc. :scared: :faint: So I went shopping here ... much to hubby's disgust I brought him along and I found a PERFECT one. I believe I bought it Ardene's ??Sound right? Anyway, It is made by HIGH SIERRA. Fits nice and snug up on my back with great padding. The strap that comes down across my shoulder has a cell phone pocket that I figure can hold my tickie's and Fast passes. Swing the bag around without undoing it and there are 2 pockets that unzip. One has an organizer as well as a large section for a light weight sweater. There is also a section that runs the full size of bag for whatever turns my cranks. It also has a water bottle holder on the side that I figure I will stick a small umbrella in.

Oh I got it in light blue only cause the lime green one was ripped and dirty! :cool1:

I noticed at the Baggallini website that the Cote d'Azur shop in the Hilton on Hotel Plaza Blvd, across from DTD is a retailer.

subscribing to hear if you can have one shipped to the hotel... I almost caved and had one shipped here to Calgary but then I regained my senses...
Good to hear about Ardene's version. I will check them out too. Any other reasonable facimiles out there?

Hi, I am from Mexico, but since I usually am in the same position as you, I have ordered many many times things to hotels in the US, 2 of those times to Disney hotels, so you won´t have any trouble. I would order at least 10 or 15 days before I left home, just to be sure it does get to the hotel before you do.

Also be sure to put the name under which the reservation is made, then c/o and then the hotel´s name with your arrival date and the rest of the address.

Hi Janjandis. I was surprised to find a Bagalini right here in Toronto. I think the name of the store was something like "Storage Solutions & More" and it was at the Colossus Power Centre (7575 Weston Road at Highway 7). They had messenger bags in black only (maybe $35?? $40??) and also had some "wallets" (more or less a waistpack) and some sort of toiletry bag, and I think they were both around the $30 mark, but significantly smaller than the messenger bag. The messenger bag looked good to me, but the kind of thing that would store stuff for one person, rather than for a family. I know some people complain that they don't end up liking the one-strap concept, either.

I can't seem to find the exact name of the store, and I can't find a website for the Colossus Power Centre, either, which is frustrating. If you're in Toronto, it would at least give you a chance to try one to see if it was comfortable.

Cheers,

Cindy

Well, I bought my Baggallini :Pinkbounc . I bought it on the net at shoebuy and had it shipped to the resort. It took almost 10 days and arrived a day after I did. I used it all week and loved it. Its nice and light and perfect for throwing refillable mugs in to grab a drink on the way back to Hotel room. After a long day at the parks, it was too long to trek to the room and back.

hi there, before our trip, i also bought a baggallini...i ordered mine from ebags.com and if u spent more than 35 dollars, it was free shipping, and it was easy to find something to put me over that amount....it came very quickly too...great bag by the way
