HELP!!!!

I just cleaned and organized all my scrapping materials and I have way too much stuff. I have started to accumulate paper up the whazoo, eyelets in all colors, fibers that I will probably never use, and many other gadgets.
I can not imagine using everything I have. Not even if I share it with my DD. Since we are having a garage sale soon I think I am going sell some of it in sets. I have lots of stickers that I used part of it but still have a few left on the roll. Lots of stuff I have had for 5 years and still haven't used, but for some reason I just keep buying more and more stuff.

I need help!!! My name is Sue and I am a scrapaholic.

Hi Sue , my name is Cyndi and I'm a scrap-a-holic. So I can't be of much help. Have you considered donating some of the stuff ?Mommie2angels has a charity crop ( once or twice a year ) and is allways looking for stuff for the baskets that they give away. She post here at the disboards. You can email her by clicking on the link below and looking for mommie2angels and hitting her email.

Ok, the charity crop is a good idea...but you've got an outlet right in your hands!

How about that crop your troop is setting up for the service unit?

Or of course....we could look at some trading ;)

Cyndi, thanks a MILLION for posting about our charity crops!!! I appreciate that so much!!!

WDWMom, if you would like to donate any items to our crops we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks to the wonderful people on this board we have been able to raise more money than we ever expected.

If you would like to donate items locally I am sure if you have a children's hospital near you they would love it. If we have extra stickers and things we let our dds take them to the hospital when they go. When our dd#2 goes to the cancer clinic we take things for the children to use while working on their scrapbooks.

Too funny you sound like me about a year ago! I was over run with stuff and would just keep buying. I can't say that has totally changed but....I am working on it!
I only buy stickers if I know I have pictures to use before I just bought if they were cute and on sale...I no longer keep the strip if it has a few left. I either toss it or give it to my kids.
Eyelets....Still love them but don't buy many anymore.

Now I am running into the problem with scrap paper! I have two big files with pieces. Especially after working on 2 8x8 albums! I plan to go through that once I am done all the gift albums and toss the paper only keep the solid stuff.

I also make a pile to donate, pile for the kids and trash pile. I found if I sort my stuff about every 4 months it helps keep me in line!

Thanks for the ideas. DD took some of the stuff but she is acumulating as much as I am these days. My best friend just cleaned out her stuff and gave DD a bunch of paper and she does not want most of it so I have that to deal with too.

I guess I should keep it around for our GS scrap night. If not I'll donate it to mommies2angels. Let me know when your next crop is.

Now I just need to find the time to use what I do want to keep in the next few months and stop shopping for new stuff.

I understand! We had overnight visitors this weekend, so I put away all my sb "stuff." It is no longer all over the living room - well, at least not right now, maybe later today I will get it back out :).

When we had the SS Swaps last year, I asked for the sender to please send me some of their extra scraps. It is amazing how handy those pieces have been. The title page of my cousin's album (an album of my first cousins) is almost entirely done with items given to me by others.
