I napped during Harry Potter

I was so looking forward to seeing this with middle DS. I couldn't believe he gave up going with his friends to go with me . Both of us thought the first two were better. I couldn't remember the book as well as him (since he has read them all about half a dozen times), he said events happened not true to the book. He also mentioned that the Hogwarts grounds looked different than from the first two movies. We weren't impressed. I think if you didn't read the book you might have been lost during the plot too.

I am sorry to hear that... bummer... It seems like people either like it or they don't... there doesn't seem to be any happy medium...

I read an article where they did say that they focused more on storytelling in this one rather than special effects and "catching people up to speed" on the entire Harry Potter world.

In a way, they had to since it was a longer book.

I haven't seen the film yet.
