Just 2 vents:
1. Three weeks ago, I called H & R Block to schedule an appt. to do our taxes. I made an appt. for 3/25 at 10:00.
Two nights ago, the H & R Block office called to see if I'd like to schedule an appt. I told them that I already have an appt. for this Saturday. They checked the appt. book, and I wasn't in there.
They had no record of the appt. I made 3 weeks ago. They did apologize and made another appt. for me, but I was miffed that my appt. wasn't recorded when I made it. Had they not called, I would have shown up with all of my tax stuff and no appt.
2. I had a mammogram and sonogram done within the past month. On Monday AM, I have an appt. with my doctor about monitoring a benign lump. I called the radiology place and said that I need to pick up my mammogram and sonogram today for Monday's appointment. My file there is empty. They "misplaced" my mammogram and sonogram. Insurance won't cover another mammo & sonogram, so I'm thinking that the radiology office should give me another one at *their* expense since *they* lost my films. Wish me luck in getting that done.
Am I like, invisible, when it comes to record keeping? Did anyone else ever have mammogram results disappear into thin air? If so, were you able to get another one at the expense of the place that lost the films?
