Now I have to wait until Monday. Grrrrrr. What really has me concerned is that the doctor (OB/GYN) himself called me (left message on my voicemail) . He said to call back Monday, and didn't leave the info! The nurse usually calls with test results, so I'm trying not to worry.

A prayer or two would be most appreciated.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Hope you get the results you want!

Jill

I'll keep praying for you, I would like to think that if it was truly important, that the Dr. would make an extra effort to reach you at home in the evening. Especially knowing you will worry all weekend. But then my faith in Doctors has slipped a bit over the years, but keep the faith!!

:hug:

Maybe I should have clarified a bit more. I was trying to avoid the whole "TMI" realm.

I've been having some problems (and, no, I'm not expecting), and had a sonogram done yesterday. I'm waiting to hear what was found.

The message he left said he'd try to reach me this weekend (ACK!!) or on Monday during normal business hours.

My best wishes are with you, ElizK, along with a prayer for good results and some mental comfort till you get them. Please let us know when you can. My best. :hug:

Dan

I would call his service and see if he is on call tonight. If not, I'd try tomorrow. I am the type that cannot wait. Have you tried calling back? Somebody is always on call.

I like Pop Daddy's plan.
It would really drive me nuts not knowing. I'm hoping for the best for you.

Now I can get into this plan.

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

Thanks, ya'll, for your prayers and words of comfort. I guess I'm going with the "ignorance is bliss" angle for now. "Who by worrying can add a single day to his life?"

Why is it results and calls like this always happen on Fridays?

:hug: Good luck, I hope everything is ok. Maybe the dr's nurse had to go home early today and he wanted to get the calls out of the way today that she/he would've made. Maybe you're pregnant.:teeth:

Bite your tongue! What a wretched thing to say to a 35yr old with a 12yr old and nearly 9 yr old, and a husband who has been FIXED!!!!! LOL

We have about the same stats (I'm 34, have an 11 yo dd, a 7, almost 8 yo ds, and I'm the one who's fixed;)). I've heard there's a small percentages of "oopsies" sometimes. I'd much prefer you'd be in that percentage than me.;)

I, too, hope that you get the results you are hoping for. {{{HUGS}}}

Hoping everything is fine. However, I would call the service too. Maybe not at midnight or anything, but mid-morning Saturday. The only hitch may be that he won't give you the results w/o having them in front of you. Which is understandable. They see 100's of results a day for many things, and while they are the most important to us, they don't always remember each person's exact problem. Either way I'd give it a shot, don't worry about the nurse not calling. She might of already left for the day or just been off. The doctor I work for does about 15% of her own calls. They are just randomly picked to tie things up at the end of the day and have no signifigance.

Bump up and some PD.:Pinkbounc

hope you've heard by now...sending pixie dust and bumping this....:bounce:
