I miss my mom and dad...

I miss my mommy so much! We live across the country and with the baby on the way... Let's just say some days I miss my mom more than I miss DH! (He's deployed right now.) My baby sister is at college near my parents and I cry every time Mom writes that Sis is coming home for the weekend. I want to come home for the weekend!! Luckily, Mom is flying out on Tuesday.

Me too, Katerkat...

Sometimes I just want to go home and put on my PJs and sit up with my brother eating chocolate ice cream while we plot on how to "get Mama" which was our favorite pastime growing up. DH laughed at me when we went home last time because me and my brother were playing the "I'm not touching you" game and we're 28 and 25!

It's like when we go home we revert back to the way we were growing up...and I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. My mother enjoys the chance to spoil us again and my dad lives to cook breakfast for us. God. There go the waterworks again! Uggh!
