Trip ended on May 9.........I can't help but think that this time last week I was there!!!!! Major sadness coming on. I was going to take a break from WDW and go again in 2012...I don't even think I can hold out not going back this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm right there with you. We won't be able to go for five years because our kids are so little and daycare costs are crazy!

We went for our 1st time 2yrs ago and vowed that would be our only trip to DW for awhile. Last year we were making our vacation plans and were able to get free dining and decided to go back and again vowed that would be our last time for awhile. Well this year we were starting to make plans to go back to Pigeon Forge where we went 5yrs in a row and pricing out everything we wanted to do there and it was going to cost us more than going to disney or either a stay in the motel room and eat boring sandwiches most of the time. So we are going back to disney for the 3rd yr in a row. I am so excited to get to go back. Now if disney cuts out all of their good deals then this will probably be our last year for awhile

We're lucky to go twice a year. But we still suffer withdrawal. Everyday we check out the weather in Orlando. When the temps are high in 80's and 90's we say "Glad we're not there toda too hot. "It helps a little, very little.

I've got a ways to go, and I just remind myself that everyday I'm one day closer!
Before I know it that ticker of mine will be moving along.

We weren't going back till 2012 but I was fortunate enough to talk DD and DsonIL into going back "for a few days" in Jan 2011.
I cant wait to start planning again To me thats part of the fun.

We left POP on May 2 after a great 7 night stay.

The time that is hardest for me is after a WDW trip and before we set the date (and can start planning) for the next trip.

On Tuesday, I literally dug my feet into the Yacht Club beach and told DH "I'm not going home and you can't make me!" We tried to think through the logistics of extending the vacation, but it just didn't work this week. So we booked a bounceback for November instead!

Now I am on to planning the next vacation...

i know how you feel, OP. it's been almost a year since my last trip to wdw, and there's no trip anywhere on my horizon. it may be a couple of years before we get back, if we can do it then. it makes me so sad, but the situation is what it is.

this is me, but there's no vacation, or even a stress break, in sight. *sigh* if only the heat pump hadn't died...now the A/C in my car isn't working.

All I can add is me too. I'm still coming here everyday even though its been since Dec 08 and I have nothing in the works either. I would love to go back but I just haven't been able to find the $$$'s.
