I might be up at Paramount's Kings Island on 5/3

Depending on if I can get Friday off or not (or at least get 1/2 day), I might be flying up to Ohio very early and heading to PKI in the late afternoon. I don't know how much I can get done, but all I need are 7 roller coasters before Top Thrill Dragster! Who else will be there?

Hey Barry!! My SO and I are going to PKI for the weekend along with our good friends Scarlett873 and her DH. It is sort of a b-day celebration for SO and I (mine is 4-27, and his is 5-4) we are driving over early Saturday and staying at some resort...silly me I forgot the name (The King's Island Resort...or something like that) We will be going to PKI Sat. evening (5-3) with the night/before tickets and spending the full day there on 5-4. Maybe we will see you there!!

You'll have to tell us how the new rides are...
There is a pendulum type ride(similar to drop zone) and a Scooby Doo ride i think(similar to buzz lightyear)...Son of Beast & Beast will probaly be your longest roller coaster lines...
We'll be leaving for Disney that day...

DUH, I think I'm confused...heeheehee. The Dragster ride I am thinking of is at Cedar Point. not PKI. Is there something new at PKI called Dragster too? That would be cool!

My family has Paramount Canada's Wonderland season's passes and used them during a four day trip to Ohio last summer. We had a great time! The best three roller coasters ever were there! One is the longest wooden coaster, one is the tallest looping wooden coaster and the third is a steel coaster with 6 inversions! VERY COOL! S

I won't be there, but I was on Saturday. It was my first time, and it was great! The first 2 hours of the day, we walked onto every coaster and even had a train or two almost to ourselves. Even later on, the only bad line was at Son of Beast because they only had one train going. I don't think the time I waited was worth the awful headache that thing gave me!
The pendulum ride (Delerium) was fun, but short. And the new Scooby Ride is great- after 4 times, we finally stopped getting back in line. I got a 1530 twice, I figure it's good practice for when I ride Buzz in May. I'd also recommend checking out the new 3-D Spongebob motion simulator movie thingee if it's open. It's a funny movie (especially if you're a Spongebob fan), and the I found myself ducking to avoid the 3-d effects even the 2nd time I rode it!

Oh Good Grief!!! There!!! The Reservations are made! It is official we will be arriving at the PKI Resort and Conference Center on May 3rd. Doing the night/before tickets that evening 5pm-10pm. On Sunday May 4th we will be spending the whole day!!! Are ya happy smarty pants???

We do plan on going a little later in the summer though. I was there 2 years ago, and they were building Tomb Raider. Has anyone been on that one yet? What is it like?

We will be there this Sat - meeting SiL & DN there on the way to their house for Easter. My guys love Sponge Bob & Scooby.

We rode it...Not worth the wait..Nice theming though....
Wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes for it..
