I met another DVC'er today.

I was just taking my daughter to school and coming down the street behind me was a mini van with the DVC plate on the front.
When I got out of the car I had to go over to the lady and mention that we were DVC members too.

I got so excited to meet someone else that is as deranged about Disney as I am. Her son goes to the same school my daughter does. I swear I heard that song playing in the background?

It's sad that just meeting another DVC'er can make me happy.

LOL! Glad I am not the only one who feels that way! When we have DIS meets around here, we find a lot of DVC folks.

That's funny because I met another DVC'r at work the other day. I have some DVC logo items hanging in my cube at work and a fellow associate stopped by because she noticed them and we started up a converstation.
Her home is Vero so we agreed to keep in touch to share our 11-month booking windows when we want to swap locations!

Isn't DVC great!

I got just as excited when I found out my daughter's teacher was a DVCer!!! We chat about stuff all the time and compare notes. She's the one who clued me in that dinner reservations had changed to the 90 day window right at the time we needed to book PS for our upcoming trip. She's also the one who told me about this board!!! It's also nice to know that I'm not the only crazy Disney fan out there!!!

I just came back from the Disney store in our mall. When I was handing my card over for the discount, the lady behind said "Oh, another DVC Member". She has points at BWV, VWL and Vero. I told her we have OKW and BCV. She recommends Vero for after WDW to relax.

i met one last week at work too! said "Welcome Home" to her and i thought she was gonna cry right there. really!!!!

Always nice to meet a DVC'er by chance. We found out our kids Sunday school teacher a couple of years ago is a DVC member. She saw our license plate on my wifes van (At that time GO 2 WDW) and got to talking. She owns at VWL.

Then a year ago at a nice German restaurant, we overheard at a table next to us a couple trying to explain the DVC point system to their tablemates. We introduced ourselfs. They own at OKW.
