He was Tinkerbell's launcher. He worked at Disneyland in the 1960s and 1970s. He and Tinkerbell made their way up the Matterhorn and he launched her at the precise moment during the firework show. On the other end of the line were 2 Tinkerbell catchers with a mattress. I had the best conversation with him.
 
That just made me giggle!

Just picturing him at dinner parties: "And Leo, what is it you do for a living?" :lmao:

I have a friend that has listened to many of the radio frequencies from many of the various wireless Disneyland internal info lines over the years... during some shows and parades and just overall medical and attraction, security and custodial calls etc...
When Tink was launched the phrase for many years was
"The payload is sent".

When it was mentioned, it always made me laugh a little... :lmao:
