I messed up - what restaurant to book?

We'll be in DLand/Cali Adventure 12/30 and 12/31.

Could have sworn I booked Blue Bayou on 12/30, but just checked my email as I'm compiling my reservations and it's not there. Not in my account, either.

Obviously there's no reservations left. I booked Cafe Orleans for the time being, but any recommendations? May be a blessing in disguise as we can save money during our trip - do we try for Plaza Inn? Try our hand at the Cozy Cones or a quick service in Cali Adventure? Or keep Cafe Orleans?

Wing it. Keep checking back for cancellations but if nothing comes up, just grab some counter service. I recommend Plaza Inn, Rancho del Zocalo, or French Market.

Keep checking for openings every chance you get because cancellations happen. Also the day before, there will be last minute openings as people meet the 24 hr cancellation policy deadline.

That's what I'm thinking - but that adds up, too! I remember in Epcot we figured "let's just eat around the world and we'll pick and spend less".... then next think you know we've spent like $50 per person!

You don’t need to be a passholder To purchase the Sip and Savor. But passholders get a small discount on it.

It is likely going to be very busy those days so I would keep your reservation so as to not have to deal with the lines for counter service or the food booths. I think it will be much more relaxing, and they have some good food.

I agree, keep checking. I don't know how many are in your party or how flexible you are but I see openings for 4 on 12/30 at 9:50pm and several lunch/late lunch options (12:50, 1:50, 2:50)

I've had that happen before. You book a reservation and get a congratulations but until you hit one last button at the bottom, it's not actually confirmed. I learned that the hard way. I had taken screenshots and saved them but when I looked back at them, I could see that there was no confirmation number and I hadn't clicked the final button.

Some people prefer CO to BB. The atmosphere at BB is obviously pretty special. But CO is great for that cuisine. RB Jazz Kitchen in DD is fantastic as well.

Cafe Orleans is the only sit down we book every trip!!! I would keep it and enjoy the pomme frites!!!

Cafe Orleans is amazing. I had a negative experience at Blue Bayou on my first trip to DL (not food related), so I went to Cafe Orleans instead. It was awesome!

I am in agreement with others, keep the Cafe Orleans reservation. Blue Bayou used to be my go to sit down each trip but it has been replaced. 1st meal in the parks now is at Cafe Orleans every time! (well twice so that makes it a thing right?)

Cafe Orleans is delicious! Definitely keep. Say yes to the Gumbo and Pomme Frites!

Yeah Cafe Orleans is a good 1b alternative. Also will have the holiday hot chocolate beignets as well!
