I mean it's crazy - We finish each other's... (A Honeymoon PTR)

UPDATED ITINERARY DAYS 3 AND 4

Day 3 Itinerary
Tues, Sept. 13

OMG it's MNSSHP!!! My first one ever! I'm going to be IN COSTUME in Disney World!

It'll be a long day for us, so we think we're going to skip rope drop and get to the park a bit later, maybe around 10ish. It's kind of our "Princess" day so to speak. All our FPs are Princess related, we're watching Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire, we're doing Festival of Fantasy, and then eating dinner at BOG!

In the morning we'll gather up all our costume bits at the hotel, and then bring them to the park with us and rent a locker to keep them in for the day.

When we watch FOF, we'll get a spot near park entrance so we can go straight to the lockers afterward and get changed. Then we'll meet as many Princesses and BATB characters possible while I'm in my Village Belle costume :) what NO I'M NOT HYPERVENTILATING.

Then...

Dinner at BE OUR GUEST. In costume. I can assure you that ugly crying will ensue.

After dinner we'll get a spot for the Boo to You Parade, and then stay in our spot for Hocus Pocus and HalloWishes. We're hoping that after Hallowishes the park will empty a wee bit and then we can go do character meets and get ALL the candy.

As someone who was raised in a very religious home - I wasn't allowed to trick or treat as a kid so I've never really done it. Soooo the fact that I get to trick or treat? IN DISNEY? Dressed as Belle?! ..... *faint*

I don't know if we'll stay right till midnight, but either way, this is the day I'm looking forward to most on the trip (tied for our Chef's Table dinner at V&A).

Day 4 Itinerary
Weds, Sept. 14th

Our last day at VGF :(

We're going to head to Hollywood Studios for rope drop and try to get on Rock n Roller Coaster before our first FP+ for Toy Story Mania at 9:55am. After that, we'll hit our other Fastpasses, try to see Beauty and the Beast Live, the usual.

For lunch at 2:10, we'll be heading back to GF for Afternoon Tea!

Because we won't be done afternoon tea till about 3:30pm we won't be wanting a big dinner. So, after our tea we'll just relax a bit, spend time at the resort since it's our last day there, and then have a lighter dinner.

After dinner, back to MK for Wishes :)

Next up - Days 5 and 6

UPDATED ITINERARY DAYS 5 and 6

Day 5 Itinerary

Thurs, September 15th

Goodbye VGF, and hellloooooo AKV!

I actually don't know split stays are handled as we've never done one. Do they send your luggage over to the new hotel, or do we have to bring it ourselves?

We're going to head straight for Animal Kingdom and use our Fastpasses for KS, EE, and KRR. Then we'll browse around at the other stuff, then go back to our new resort and explore, and maybe hang by the pool!

Any QS lunch ideas?? We've only ever done Yak and Yeti express.

Then, dinner ADRs at CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE
I know I know. The food is going to suck. That's okay. I'm eating in castle!

After dinner, we plan to go catch

STAR WARS - A GALACTIC SPECTACULAR!!

YAY!

Then we're thinking of catching a ride to POR, and having a nice carriage ride. :lovestruc

Day 6 Itinerary
Fri, September 16th

Waterpark day!! I've been to both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, but Arthur's not been to either. I also haven't been to the waterparks in 10 years, sooo it'll be fun!

We're planning on a half day at Typhoon Lagoon, and then heading over to Disney Springs. We've not seen it since its facelift so I'm sure there'll be LOTS to see. We're also going to do Characters in Flight.

Then, back to the hotel for Jiko at 5:30pm!

After dinner, back to Animal Kingdom where we have nighttime Fastpasses booked. Hellooooo evening safari!

Next up - Day 7

UPDATED ITINERARY DAY 7

Saturday Sept. 17th

Wait, we're STILL in Disney?!
pFIWmDN.gif

We've never stayed longer than 7 days so this is usually our going home day. Now this is one day where dinner ain't changin', cause we're eating at

VICTORIA AND ALBERT'S CHEF'S TABLE!!!
giphy-3-1450882594.gif

Neither of us can contain ourselves over here. We're still talking every day about how excited we are for this particular evening.

Based on that, we're probably not going to be eating much for the rest of the day since it's like 525,600 courses. We have a morning/early afternoon scheduled at Hollywood Studios where we'll get all the stuff done that we didn't do the first day we went. Then we'll be getting all gussied up for our evening at V&A.

Next up - Days 8 through 11

UPDATED ITINERARY DAYS 8-11
Day 8 Itinerary
Sun, September 18th

Up bright and early for the

WILD AFRICA TREK!!!

This will be a really exciting one I'm sure. We're on the 8am tour, so if we're leaving from AKV, what time do you think we'd be needing to leave?? Does Disney Transportation go that early??

And, if you've done the WAT before - how tired were you afterward?? Arthur and I are fairly active people - but did you go onto other parks right after? Go back to your room and grab a shower??

After the Wild Africa Trek, we may head over to Blizzard Beach! But we have ADRs at 5, so it'd just be a short trip to Blizzard Beach if we do go.

Our dinner reso that night is for TIFFINS! Has anyone been yet? What do you recommend?

Post Tiffins, we're going to head to Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic, and then after that, if we're not too tired and we haven't gotten the carriage ride at POR done yet, we'll do that.

Day 9 Itinerary
Mon, September 19th
Our last hotel transfer of the trip! Heading from Animal Kingdom Villas to Boardwalk Villas!

We'll pack up our stuff and head out to Epcot for our first FP at 10am, which is Soarin!

After that, we'll be exploring the

FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL!!!

We've never been before - what are YOUR suggestions on what to eat at FAWF??? My eyes are bigger than my stomach and I know I'm going to want to try absolutely everything. We didn't book any seminars or events this time around. We just wanted to explore the stuff in WS for our first year.

After Food and Wine, we'll head back to Boardwalk, settle in our room, and head over to Magic Kingdom for Wishes at 8pm, then
BE OUR GUEST ADRs at 8:25pm!

Day 10 Itinerary
Tues, September 20th
I got four words for ya's. MAGIC. KINGDOM. WELCOME. SHOW. Whatever I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING!
tumblr_m47ctvrSb81qa47fd.gif

The Magic Kingdom Welcome Show is maybe one of my favourite things on Earth. We may need to do it more than once this trip.

We'll probably play some Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, use up our FastPasses, and enjoy the morning in MK. Not sure what else we'll do yet, if we'll stay in the park or not. We're planning to not go too too crazy after Magic Kingdom Welcome Show.

Then we have ADRs for YACHTSMAN STEAKHOUSE! And after dinner we're going to BEACHES AND CREAM!

Super excited - we've never been to either. Any suggestions on what to get? I kind of want to spring for the Kitchen Sink for me and Arthur. But.... after Yachtsman we may be stuffed.

After Beaches and Cream I think we'll try that new magic cocktail bar on the Boardwalk - I can't remember what it's called right now! Then we'll wander the Boardwalk and Beach Club.

Day 11 Itinerary

Weds, September 21st
Our last full day in the parks :guilty:

We have morning FP in the Magic Kingdom which we may use or not. It will really be a day to get everything done that we haven't accomplished yet, and tie up loose ends.

Then lunch time we'll head back to Epcot and do
FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL again! After that, who knows! It'll be nice to have a day where not everything is scheduled to the minute.

Then, our final dinner at Monsieur Paul.

When-Phoebe-Teaches-Joey-How-Speak-French.gif

And then, after dinner, we'll head to Mexico, grab a margarita, and spend our last night watching Illuminations.

Then the next morning, we get DME back to the airport at 2pm, so before that, we'll do some Disney Springs!

And that, dear friends... is our
Disneymoon.

1. I booked an Afternoon Tea per your suggestion for Saturday 9/17 at 2 PM. I can not wait to try it! I'm so excited for this new experience :goodvibes

2. We're doing the Wild Africa Trek on Monday 9/19. We booked for 8 AM. If that day is a possibility for you, you should join our time slot!

3. I love your plans. I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience of V&A! I also booked Yachtsman Steakhouse and also Narcoossee's for the same night. I can't decide which one I want to do yet. Tough decisions!

4. Did you pick a night for your MNSSHP yet? I know the hours are not officially out but for the most part the nights MK closes at 7 it will most likely be a given. We're going to do Sunday 9/18. I hope they will let adults dress up! We're not doing anything too extravagant so we won't have any issues, but it would be a super bummber if you can't be Belle..

5. How are the wedding plans coming along?!

YAAAAAAAAAAS! When they ask what you'd like for dessert you MUST get the strawberries. Absolute must.

Ooo mayhaps! I'll talk to Arthur about it. We were originally intending to do the 17th but we'll see.

Tough call. We did Narcoossee's and it was amaaaazing. I haven't done Yachtsman yet!

I think we're planning for Tuesday the 13th! And... they have announced the dates now! And costume guidelines. I'm about to make another post after this one about my thoughts on the new costume guidelines.

5. How are the wedding plans coming along?!
Pretty well! I think we're fairly ahead of the game, and soon it'll be time to start DIY-ing all the things. We're having each table themed after a different Disney movie with different centerpieces to represent the theme (so for example, the Cinderella table's centerpiece will be a giant gold, glittered pumpkin - the BATB table will be the rose in the bell jar, etc.)

WELP.

The good news is MNSSHP dates have been announced and that means we can plan which night we'll be going! The bad news is according to the costume guidelines on the MNSSHP on Disney's website:

  • Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g. full-length Princess dresses)

So no Belle dress at Be Our Guest/photos with the Beast. No Belle dress in the parks period. My heart is mildly shattered and I've allotted myself some time to be sad about it. Then I'll get back to being so ridiculously excited for this amazing honeymoon. But marf. This news is really sad for me.

Great itinerary! :yay::yay::yay:

Do they send your luggage over to the new hotel, or do we have to bring it ourselves?

Take it to Bell Services and they will send it over for you!

Any QS lunch ideas?? We've only ever done Yak and Yeti express.

Try the new stuff in Harambe Market!

On your Belle dress for MNSSHP, could you maybe do a short version? Some fun and sassy?

I'm just totally geeking out because your cat is named Gandalf.

And your trip sounds amazing! We had planned for a Disneymoon too but then I got pregnant :-x Now we're taking our little princess this fall!

We're doing this too! I'd love to see some pics!

I've enjoyed your PTR so far. We are planning a Summer 2017 wedding and Fall 2017 Disneymoon. Neither of us have been to the World.

Ooooof! I left this thread for such a long time! This planning a wedding thing really takes it out of ya. We are officially in our wedding month today, and 28 days until we say I do!

I have a whole bunch of updates to do to my PTR, mostly ADR stuff and what we have FP+ for and stuff :)

Getting SO excited about our very first MNSSHP too! I just ordered my hair for provincial Belle, and my seamstress is finishing up her sketches for her village dress for me! I'm so excited! Still sad that I can't wear my yellow ballgown I've dreamed of wearing in WDW for years, but this will be great too. And we have ADRs at BOG that night.

We still have NO idea though what my fiancé is going as though. We've been so busy planning the wedding that we haven't had time to plan his costume. We're also poor after planning our wedding haha. So while we were thinking about getting Price Adam's costume made, that may be a bit expensive.

He loves Star Wars so maybe a jedi sans cape or Han Solo.

Either way, can't wait!! September 13th!

You're going to be there the same time as us!

I love Beauty and the Beast too. It sounds like your costume is going to be great!

Hey Raeven, that's awesome!

And, I'm hoping my costume will be great. I went with the seamstress and picked out the fabric myself, and we had my first fitting a couple days ago! And the wig is looking pretty good, too.

I think we decided on Han Solo for Arthur. Now we just have to find time to either buy or make his costume. Oy.

okay, people!

Wedding is over, and I'm officially a MRS! So that means now, I can finally get back to planning this trip!

I've got all my Fastpasses booked and ADR's solidified. Should I make new posts or should I just go back to my previous posts and edit them, do you think??

In the next post I'll include some photos of our most wonderful, fairytale dream day. I'm just dying for all our professional shots to come back, which I know take a couple months. Thank goodness I have Disney to look forward to!

Make a new post! I change things all the time it can get confusing to add it to old posts haha

Here you go everyone! Some photos of our amazing day. We're three days newlywed, and it's awesome! Except for the fact that we've both come down with colds. :(

We had tons of Disney elements added to the wedding - from making all our tables differently themed with different centerpieces that I designed, and quotes from their respective movies on each table, down to my footwear!

These table photos I have from the reception really aren't great quality - I can't wait to get the shots back from my photographer, but, this gives you an idea of some of the things I did with my tables!
