I have a confirmed studio reservation at the VWL arriving Nov 28 for 8 nights. We may need to cancel or make other arrangements. I have the option of cancelling and saving the points.................or I may be willing to rent the reservation if anyone is interested.
I'd be looking for $1,575 for 7 nights checking in Nov 28 checking out Dec 5, or $1,800 for all 8 nights checking out on Dec 6. That works out to $225 a night for a studio at VWL. That works out to $13 and change per point. Currently, the best available rate for those dates anywhere in the WL is $278 ($250 plus tax) a night. The best available rate for a studio in the Villas is about $309 if it is even available. So at $225 a night you are looking at a 20% discount off of available WL rates and a 27% discount off of VWL available cash rates.
Like I said, I can always save the points for another time, but if anyone is interested in very hard to find discounted WL rate for the first week of December this may be your chance.
