I may be nuts but I booked vacation via AAA

Not nuts for booking through AAA, but I had already had a room only reservation through Disney and then booked through AAA and cancelled the Disney one... So a lot of phone calling... But I think I made the right decision... I would get free parking, and discounts at some restaurants... so it sounds like a good deal.

There are some good deals with AAA. And yes the other discounts are good too.

The free parking is because you are staying at an onsite hotel; anyone who does that gets free parking. What you get through a AAA package is a certificate that allows you to park in a certain section of the lots. Just wanted to make sure that's understood.

There's nothing "wrong" w/ booking a package thru AAA, esp if they are offering a special (free Disney dollars, etc), so don't feel bad about it!
