i made a mule a second ago and

instead of going to the normal screen where you make a character i got this screen that said downloading software to load faster. anyone else get this?

Would you like to download software for faster version of this movie?

I think these are the same. Did yours have check boxes on it?

I got that also.

I have gotten the download movie thing for awhile now, just cancel that.

Today was different though, it talked about the steps to get on vmk, and the download times.

no, i created the account, then got taken to a download screen, then the game started like normal. create a mule and tell me if that happens....

The first thing I thought was oh no they are on to us. They are putting spyware into our computers or taking information so they can trace all the mules. Does it say anywhere in the rules that mules are not allowed. I felt very uncomfortable making a mule tonight. I have made very few mules and except for the ones tonight always used really email address. Duh I know. So I finally bite the bullet and wam. This new window appears. It is definatley different. Still think it is spyware of some type. What would they need to download to my computer that is not already there from my main character?

I also have gotten this screen tonight.
I jujst bypass the download. I don't know what it is they're trying to load onto our pc's. Even tho I generally trust Disney, I really don't want to download anything right now.

I'm also interested if anyone has downloaded it and exactly what it is.

I am not sure I have the exact same thing, but I created a few mules the weekend before all the costumes were due out. I did have to 'agree' to some kind of access, but the screen appeared twice in between each page of registration. While it was a pain, and I was concerned why they would need this permission, I did run both virus and spyware programs immediately after finishing the mules. Neither program found any 'invasions', and my spyware program does include adware as well. (whew!)

What did it do to change your VMK expierence?

what spyware program are you running and when did you last update?

Because from what I can find on Hitbox is that it is a tracking cookie. I really hate to tell you this BlueSomebody but I feel you are being tracked.
