What a great film, so much feeling, took me back to the 70s when i first saw the original Rocky. this one had such a different feeling to it, more about the acting and story and not so much about the high tech stuff and the way the boxers trained. i really liked it!

I will definitely see it. There were two films this season I really wanted to see: Dreamgirls and Rocky Balboa. Saw Dreamgirls the night before last--it was awesome! Hope to see Rocky tomorrow.

rocky rocks i have seen each and every movie i used to have the origanal rocky tee shirt untill i out grew it. but yes a great movie as always

LOVED IT! I gotta hand it to Sly. He embodies this character. It's like he's a
real person that you've known all your life. He keeps plugging away and we
keep rooting for him. Paulie never changes either. Is that a good thing? ;)

My co-worker saw it yesterday and emailed me to say GO SEE IT! She said she started crying about 15 minutes in and cried on and off throughout the rest.

Would so love to see this but I doubt I will get a chance to until it comes to DVD.

I cant agree with you more. Its like he is an old friend, and you really are in his corner. I was on the edge of my seat during the fight scenes, i thought i was going to jump out of my seat a few times! with so many films being high tech and all about special effects, its so nice to see a film thats just about people, and one that can actually bring tears to your eyes.

Agreed SamRoc, we thought it was great too! And clean! We even took our 8 and 5 year old DDs and they thought it was good.

I have yet to see it. I was lucky enough to meet Sylvester. He went to my High School, although he did drop out. When the first Rocky movie came out, he came back to my school to visit. I was a senior then and a cheerleader, so I was on stage with him, got to meet him and even got a kiss. His pics are in my year book. If I don't get to the movies I will rent the DVD for sure.

I can't wait to see it!!!! I think we will see it when we are at USF week after next, hopefully it will still be on at Citiwalk!
