I love wawa!!!

(Both the state AND the OP!) ROFL! :goodvibes

Ok....first off, I can't BELIEVE this is a new post and it's already on page 6!!

Secondly, I AM SO OBSESSED :worship:WITH WAWA and I am even MORE ecstatic that someone else is too! LOL :cheer2:

My aunt (SeaSpray) told me about this thread this morning and I just had to jump right on it! I *live* at Wawa. Here in my area of Ocean County there's gotta be 5 Wawa's in a 5-minute radius. I just made a pot of Wawa coffee here at home....I always have a fresh supply of their grounds in my fridge. :drinking1 I got my 7 year old daughter hooked on it, since she was about 2 actually, she too is obsessed with Wawa. Whenever SeaSpray comes down to visit me, we always try to make a daily trip there so she (and I, who am I kidding??) can get her fill, hehehe!!!

Go New Jersey....Go New Jersey...it's your birthday.....it's your birthday...

Hey...shall I change my screen name to Wawalicious?!?!?!?!

I love me some Wawa!! I lived in Southern Maryland before moving to Tampa. We had neighbors who are from New Jersey, and they were so excited when they saw "Coming soon.... Wawa". I didn't know what the fuss was all about. After all, we already had Sheetz, which was WAY better than 7-11.

Well, now I know! And then we moved. Now I too, am in Wawa withdrawal!

Some of my Wawa favorites:

Really Really Great milk (my dd can tell just from the taste if it's not wawa milk)
Flavor add ins for soda (Raspberry Minute Maid light lemonade is the best!)
10-12 flavors of cappacino!
Instant milkshakes
Pre-made salads
Cheese and pepperoni cups
Fresh deli sandwiches (but only when I'm not in a hurry, cause they're SLOW)
Sugar free tasty cake products
Cheap gas

Did I mention I miss it???

Oh, I have been told that they will only open stores within a certain distance from their dairy, which is why their milk is so good! And why they aren't nationwide.

Yep. Love Wawa. We have a ton here in southeast PA as well. Probably about 7 or 8 within 10 miles!

I love all those things and more!
How about the ATMs that are free with no surcharges?! Or the flavored coffees or flavored creamers? How about the soft pretzels? Or how about how all the stores are set up alike so if you are in Maryland or Jersey or Philly, it still feels like home?!

Ahhh, I love Wawa. There is no other convenience store like Wawa!

No way!! The one further down 537 is more 'homey' or the ones on W. Veterans. Those are my kind of Wawa's the 'homey' ones :rotfl: The one by Great Adventure is too big and over crowded, although, its good to stop there before going to the park, but its not 'homey' :teeth:

I used to work at the outlet mall so i would hit the GA one all the time. My homey one is the Manhattan street Wawa.

I have 3 WaWas in my town and I pass 5 on my 12 mile ride to work! :thumbsup2

Can't beat them for last minute gifts either -- they have a nice variety of gift cards!

With all this WaWa chat, I went ahead and picked up a sandwich for dinner from there.

We got dinner there today too! LOL And of course MORE coffee! :drinking1

We went on vaca down in Wildwood last summer, and has anyone ever seen the 50's Wawa there?!?!!? It's new, but it's completely 50's retro...here's a pic:

That's just the gas part of the Wawa...but the store part is 50's style too. Totally cool!!! :cool1:

My DD (7 yrs old) LOVES the milkshakes there! And today, as cold as it was, she wanted an ICEE. LOL Gotta love the Jr. Wawa freaks! Well hey, I was her age when I got hooked on Wawa. :cloud9: I was living in Sayreville at the time and they built a Wawa right on my street, which was Washington Road. I used to walk there every day with my BFF and the rest is history! :thumbsup2

Oooh, I love Wawa, too! I'm like a kid in a candy store. The salads are great, the wraps are great and I love the soft pretzels by the registers!!! Coffee and a raisin bagel for breakfast are a great way to start the day! :goodvibes

Just had a "Super Wawa" open up two minutes from my house (and right before the on ramp to the expressway). I love ordering my hoagies on the computer.

Also, I did see a Super Wawa in Virginia Beach this summer - we were soooo excited!

Its 2 am and I just got back from WAWA! Love it...actually worked there while in college. They treat employees great too! :thumbsup2

Ok, there's a Wawa soft pretzel sitting in my counter as we speak. It's leftover from last night, my daughter was too full to eat it, so she wants it today after school.

Million Dollar Question of the Day:
Will it, or will it NOT, still be there in its entirety on my kitchen counter by the end of the day?!?!!?

Only time will tell.........:smooth:

We know people that when they come from out of state (down south) they go straight to a WaWa. They LOVE to get TastyKakes there. :sunny: We live within 2 miles from the nearest WaWa. There are several nearby though, I think about 5 within about a 15 min drive.

Well it's definitely worth it....when we went to NC for a week in the summer, on the way home we stopped at THE first Wawa we came to! I was craving it soooo bad by then I couldn't stand it, lol. We need help!

I just got back from there with a bag of regular grounds and a bag of decaf. OH, and of course, a hot cup in my hand! :coffee:

I loveee the cheap half gallon chocolate milks! Gonna miss then when i move :(

this is funny cause the kids and I were just talking about this. DD says how her friends at college from North Jersey quickly become hooked on WaWa and miss it when they go home. I didn't know they weren't there. They crave the ice tea and subs.
My son hits wawa as soon as he comes home from school, gets a sub a big jug of wawa peach iced tea, etc. We lived in Chicago for awhile and dh couldn't find anybody who could do coffee like wawa. I think we moved back to jersey almost just so dh could get wawa coffee.

I am originally from South Jersey, and now go to college where there is no Wawa. All of us who are originally from the South Jersey/Philly area constantly complain about how we miss Wawa and how none of these other stores (Turkey Hill, etc.) compare. We always tell our friends from other parts of the country that they are deprived because they do no know what Wawa is.

I have a friend who lives in a suburb of Philadelphia. I make him tell me where he gets his subs from (Wawa of course) just so I can laugh. I love the way it sounds!

Our band does a WaWa fundraiser (they buy Shorti coupons for 2.50, and sell them for 3.50...which is still less than what it costs, so it's a win-win!) - so yes, I'm WELL acquainted with Wawa! ::yes::
