I Love Pop

I am heading back for my 6th stay at Pop Century, with my Dh (his 2nd stay at POP), in November. I've stayed in both the 50's and 70's decades and although I usually try to request a top floor, I have had no problems on other floors if they have none available.

One of my favourite things to do is go for a walk down Memory Lane, the path that runs along Hourglass Lake. It's so nice that it's hard to believe that you are at a value resort!

Hi All!!

SO glad to "pop" into a postive thread about the Pop Century Resort!
I am a huge fan and have stayed there twice this year so far in Feb & June. I will be back in December and then in April!! The theming is great, I am a solo traveller most of the time and the rooms at Pop are perfect for me. The pools are fun and the food court rocks!

I can't wait to be there during the holiday season!

I am soooooo glad to hear positive remarks about POP. My family has stayed at PO Riverside for years and loved it. This year we are going to stay at POP and I was not sure what to expect. Thanks!

The 50's section has lady and the tramp and is close to the food court. The 80's and 90's have rooms very very close to your car and Roger Rabbit icons and a computer pool that kids seem to love. The 70's have mickey mouse and are close to the goofy fountain. Really, with the lake, I just don't think there is a room that doesn't have a really neat advantage. We'll be there in weeks!!!Can't wait.

After reading the negative thread I was dreading that I had switched from AsSp to Pop, but I am feeling much better now. I think my DS will enjoy the themes.

I love this place. I have stayed there two years in a row and this year will make a third. My new version of heaven on earth is being with my family and hanging out at the hippie dippie pool - talking about what park we are going to go to that day.

Also, a late night dinner at the food court is a great way to end a beautiful day.
