I have 183 reward points. That converts to 183 dollars. That's 183 dollars that I can put toward plane tickets.
For example, for our trip in May 2 RT tickets from DFW to MCO is 474 dollars. Well I plug those same dates into my rewards website and I get the same flights that I found on American's website. You take that 183 dollars from 494 (price on rewards website) and it comes out to 311 dollars for TWO RT tickets! That's roughly 155 dollars PER RT ticket!!
