I was looking into this and I found a few things (which led to more questions). We are DVC so don't buy rooms or packages, but we do buy gift cards to pay for our meals and APs. It seems like we could open an account and put all of our gift cards onto it, then before we go, get a single gift card from the account to pay for our meals. My question, though is it says
"After you've booked your vacation, you can put any remaining balance from your Disney Vacation Account on a Disney Gift Card (subject to a Disney Vacation Account lifetime maximum of $500)."
So does this mean you can only put $500 worth of gift cards on the account to get a single gift card? Or is this talking about the max of $500 in gift cards related to the $20 GC for every $1000 you put in?
Has anyone done this with just gift cards? If so, how much did you deposit in gift cards and did you get one gift card back?
