I just wasted 2 1/2 hours of my life. We went and saw aquaman. It was one of the worst, if not the worst, movie I have ever seen. I asked Dh multiple times if we could leave. I’m never following rotten tomato reviews again. I literally gave it 1/2 a star out of 5 lol. It was like a really low budget 90s power ranger movie. That’s the only way I can describe it

OH no! So sorry you hated it. I felt that way about The Last Airbender. Personally, I would never consider 2 1/2 hours of a wet Jason Momoa a waste of my life. He could have sat on a stool and read the dictionary out loud for 2 1/2 hours

Mine too! I have pretty vivid memories of watching it. I had to ask my mom to confirm my memory because I was 4 when it was released! It obviously made a big impact lol
Me too! I got to go twice too. Once a family friend with a daughter my age, and once with my cousins :)

How long has he been on his dad's prime? They changed it a few years ago to household but if it was already set up you could keep people outside your household. I used to be on my friends but once I wanted to use the video portion I had to get my own and it only let me add my mom since we're in the same house.
ohhh ok. that makes sense b/c I was gonna add some family to mine if that worked! nevermind:rotfl2:

Oh where oh where oh where is my SPG Business free night??? This is taking forever.
having regrets.... anyone know if I can cancel my SPG personal that I paid the AF on the other day (blame it on the jet lag) and decided I want to get rid of? will they refund my $95 or am I stuck?

if you've never been to Hawaii, visit Maui. Truly magical!

Sorry for TPG link but this is a pretty good article on getting to paradise with points.
https://thepointsguy.com/guide/points-and-miles-to-hawaii/

I've flown to Hawaii in coach, business and lie flat first. I'll be honest, nothing made the time go by faster. I still couldn't sleep in lie flat but I did drink more than normal, lol.

If you can get coach plus and sit in the front row it isn't bad and will save lots of miles.

I've long considered an Alaska card just for the sole purpose of Hawaii because of the companion fare.
I agree. MAui is magical. I want to go back. Alaska air? I'm considering a card solely for the HI trips, but on our recent trip one leg was Alaska, and it was....spartan. tiny seats, no entertainment, no blankets etc like on American,I was SO unimpressed. Not even a snack or drink service due to 'bumpy skies' (?) this was a 6 hour flight...... of all the airlines I've flown on,this one was the one I liked the least....is it always like this?

wait....what? you can do that? do you have to have same address to do it?
Eh, I just log in to my sister’s account and use hers. My CC and my moms are in sisters account as are our addresses. No problem. I signed up for a free Prime trial for Christmas, but the fee was going to me charged 12/25 so I cancelled it today.

Jumping on the bandwagon, our first movie was the rerelease of the Little Mermaid. It wasn't officially a date at the time, but since we haven't been apart since we count it. At our wedding I walked down the aisle to Kiss the Girl :p
It wasn’t our first date but the first movie we saw together was Aliens...

Santa Clause 2 1st date here...another Disney movie :)
HA! my first 'date' with DH..... I had gone to WDW with my mom,and gotten him a little pirate gun keychain thingy...remember those old ones that actually made a popping sound, made of wood and metal? he should have known right then what he was in for....since I dragged him back on our honeymoon.....

Haha he was the only redeeming part of the movie. His acting was pretty good but the rest was terrible

Why, oh why should have dispute a charge at Ruth’s Chris where it looks like the waiter decided to help himself to additional tip!

The first date things are cracking me up. I just asked DH if we even had a first date. lol We kind of just were friends then more than friends. Met in college when we were poor, so didn't really have money for movies. I think we may have seen 10 movies together in all our years together. (24 years married next week). We are not big movie people. Or date people. We pretty boring. I do remember going to see a James Bond movie right before DD was born as a "last date" lol. Had to look it up, it was Tomorrow Never Dies.

DDs Visa came in the mail yesterday!! So happy to have that process behind us. Now I still need to buy her plane tickets and she leaves in one month! Any suggestions? I think we could get with United points for 40,000 one way either from Pittsburgh or DC. Though I can't find a good point option from Pittsburgh. I was really hoping to have the United card to see extra options, but I can not find that darn mailer I saved. Cash is about $200 more from Pittsburgh than DC, but we do have DHs CSR credit that just reset and mine will reset next week. DC is usually not terribly bad to get to, but in the middle of January the trip there could be very bad if snowy and that concerns me. I am more concentrating on how to get her there right now, hoping to put off the return trip. But does anyone know if she has to have the return ticket before she leaves? I don't know how this stuff works. They made us show roundtrip reservations to get the visa, but they said not to buy the tickets, so I just randomly picked a round trip flight and printed it out.

LOL, Calypso--that was my thought, too. I could watch "my moon and stars" read a grocery list for two hours :) Glad to hear Haley R. that his acting wasn't bad--I was wondering about that. But disappointing about the movie!
