Got my Southwest Biz card in the mail yesterday and I already completed the spend. Love GCM. I’m not waiting until the end of the year since SO is getting us the companion pass and I already got the two personal cards in June 2016.

With the new universal referral links you can do personal to biz or biz to personal. You should be able to generate a universal link from the Blue Preferred and when you check that out there's a link for "Looking for a business?" or something like that. Is the BCP your only AmEx card? You get the refer bonus based on the card that generated the link so if you had others you can decide what bonus is best (MR/cash/loyalty program)

I believe the Biz is still at the all time high of 125k. You can do through the self refer at 125k/3k or there is still a dummy booking for 125k/3k + $100 statement credit. The dummy booking would negate the AF but potentially the self refer may net a better return (depending on the referring card).

P2 just got the Amex Plat for the 100,000 MR bonus. So we have that and the BCP.

this happened to my SIL last year (pre merger) it tooks months and many calls to get the spg points to post on her card bonus. they finally did.

What a pain...I am still waiting on my regular spend points too.

Applied for the Southwest Biz yesterday and got auto approved.

Used the link from Reddit for the 50k/2k offer for the personal premier this morning and was also auto approved.

Companion Pass here I come! Also hopefully disney annual pass if I can talk me husband into it.

Haha. I tried not to draw him out any more than I had to. And I didn't argue with his math (which I disagree with). But he seemed pretty taken aback when I mentioned that I had heard that the dues were going WAY up this year. I think I deflated his math enough that he didn't think I was going to buy. It's just not something we can do (or should do) at this point, in any case.

Applied for DH for the Freedom Unlimited last night. It went pending. At this point I am ambivalent. A few more UR's would be nice, but if they deny him for some reason so be it. I am still wounded by the Chase/Disney/UR debacle.

For the RMN shutdowns, at first glance I'm thinking it's less the gift card purchases and more using 2 accounts at the same time. Even though they're for separate people it probably looks like it's the same person who made multiple accounts given the transaction history and especially if both are linked to the same paypal account. That's my theory until we hear of single accounts getting shutdown too. (unless I missed one?)

Could maybe try to prove you are two people who just happen to shop together (and I do know some people who still share a smartphone, although they're in the extreme minority now). I didn't think it said anything about one per household, but I could have missed it since I only planned to use one account anyway.

I agree with the 2 accounts theory. I never partook in that and my account is fine so far. Just had something credit yesterday, in fact. GC at staples and no filler.

I got all excited when I logged into check my SPG Biz (since I haven't finished off the 10% either) and I had new offers available. It turned swiftly to disappointment as it was more WINE and somewhere called Lulus. Outside of the Lowe's and Staples 10% off, I've used exactly 4 offers on my SPG Biz for $70 back. So far I wouldn't have broke even on the fee and haven't used it at a SPG/Marriott/RC location so if they hadn't added the anniversary night it would have been a very easy decision to chop it.

I have the lulus too, so I went to the website and there are actually some really cute things. I have it on multiple cards, so between me and DD19, we will probably use them.
I also had the $50/$250 Lowes to stack with the 10% Lowes, whoop whoop! Only one card though.
And 2 cards had $50/$99 for using shipt...50% off groceries...yes please.

Ha, ha! I do have loads of wines offers also! I was purchasing boys t-shirts. He got 6 long sleeved and 1 short sleeved. And I got the majority from the sale tab. They had some dress shirts on sale but given that I probably won't get the one dress shirt on him that he owns I decided to get something he would actually wear. With the discounts, they came to $17.71 each which isn't terrible.

I've got a bunch of sale items in my buggy too, but no coupon to use to stack with amex. Waiting patiently for thanksgiving sales.

Thank you for replying! I posted twice and wasn’t getting any responses lol. I’ll keep watching. We still have like 6 months but it would be nice to know if the point value can fluctuate.

I did the math last night and compared a normal room to their celebrio room at Hilton tokyo bay. It will cost $48 total to upgrade or 132k points. That seems like a huge difference to me.

It is because your room is not a standard room rewards. I wouldn't expect it to change much. Those are always disproportionately high.

I got an email from my "tour guide" this morning saying that he just sent additional information. I asked for clarification if it would be via email or snail mail. He just responded:
"The gift card might be a digital gift card from Disney gift card services, otherwise, you will get a plastic one in the mail. The additional information will come through snail mail."
ETA: Now that I think of it, I did not mention the fact that I had a Disney Visa at all. They may or may not verify that I have one. I am wondering if you can do the audio tour even if you don't have the card and still get the $40. IMO it's worth a try.
