Ok PP lounge and restaurant usage.... I've had a PP card for a couple of years and never really used that perk (!!!!) but upcoming trip is gonna take us thru LAX and BOS....both of which I see have lounges and restaurant options. I have a PP thru my CSR,so that covers me+2 fam members(?) and I also have 10 PP options from a Hilton card for our 4th fam member..... How do I use these? Just show the card at the restaurant of choice ,or lounge and get in? What else do I need to know? FWIW we'll be flying a combo of Jetblue,American and Alaska..... How many uses per airport visit is the pass usable for? Like if I'm at an airport for many hours b/c of a delay, can we visit a restaurant using PP,and then later on another PP restaurant? Or is it only one usage per airport visit?

If you're flying JetBlue out of BOS, there is a PP lounge right by those gates!

Returned from vacation Monday night. So lots of catching up. (still 20 pages behind).

Stayed at Townplace Suites at Seaworld for 2 nights. Used my Marriott certificates for those. Nice hotel. Rooms had 2 Queen Beds plus pullout couch. Full fridge, Microwave, Dishwasher and Stovetop. Nice pool area also.

Then on to 3 day Carnival Cruise. Then stayed at the Swan for 1 night - used points for that, booked when it was still 12,000 SPG points. Then went to Halloween Party on Sunday night. We had no plans so just wandered and did whatever. Did go into the tent with the 7 Dwarfs around 8 and only had about a 30 minute wait. Also so Lotso (about 15 minutes ) and Minnie (also about 15 minutes). Went on some rides and got lots of candy. It was a fun night but felt like I was running too much to get things in (probably because we did not go to any parks this trip except for the party).

So, trying to see what is all new here. Did I miss something on Citi AA Mailer changes? I just started doing the Business Cards. I am in the process of MSR on mine (2 Mortgage payments) and then will get DH the card and do the same. Are the mailers not working anymore?

Really :offtopic::offtopic: but looking for recommendations for a book series for DS11, 7th grade to read. He just finished the Horizon series and Harry Potter. He told me to pick something since so far I've had good picks. (He really picked out the Horizon series himself when I made him get a book at the school book sale and not just crap :)). We have the upcoming Fantastic Beasts on pre-order so he needs something to hold him over for the next month.
Suzanne Colin’s the author of the hunger games also wrote the Underland Chronicles. These are much more kid oriented.

DH's accts are cleared for takeofffffff..... I just checked CK and his accts are showing 12/12 and 11/11! so that makes him 3/24....:dancer: think I'm safe to app for the SWA biz now? and then in late Dec the personal? (if I do this that makes him 4/24,right?)
I think your fine...spacing the cards out that way and Yes..your correct..he would be 4/24...

*googles Scrapple*
You know guys, I felt decently cultured prior to discovering their are staples of the regional diet in parts of America I’ve literally never heard of. I obviously need to use these points towards some more domestic travel!
National apple harvest festival bucher meats makes the best scrapple.

I don't get warm enough running in the cold and things start to hurt.

I can truly say I have a hard time imagining that! I think I've only been cold when running, maybe twice? Here, for about 8 or 9 months of the year it's pretty much running in a sauna :sad1:

I've never read Narnia or Little House though

Bless your heart! I :lovestrucLittle House books...I really wanted to spend the night in a covered wagon (in South Dakota https://www.ingallshomestead.com/camping/ ) but no one in my family would come with me. Highly recommend them, especially IIRC you're a Nebraska native.

That's so cool! I showed DH and he told me it's way too close to camping :sad2: Someday I'd like to visit some of the places around NE I've never made it to, plus show him some of the museums and stuff that I have. We also need to go to the museum Pioneer Village, because we're pretty sure DHs great grandparents donated one of the tractors.

I might read the Little House books next...

Good idea. I'll also email his school librarian and see if she has any recommendations. I'll continue my hunt on Amazon for now so I can get something in his hands quickly.
Hunger Game series? Not new but might be interesting for him!

ETA I see I am exceptionally late to this discussion - sorry!
