
If you know of a job opening because the person left the role but it hasn't been posted do you apply or wait for it to get posted? I don't think it was posted last time, it was filled internally. Also of note, the exec director/pres over the org is interim and there's no actual HR so I would send to the interim person.
The job is also located in another state so I would be trying to work remotely, which there are other people doing in other roles. I have a relationship with the org since I currently volunteer in a role that reports to the person under the one I want to potentially apply for. Other hurdle is not knowing the actual job description just the title and the bit I've worked with the people previously in the position. It's also a job I would apply for regardless of whether I currently had a job or not.
