I love credit cards so much!

Yeah - i would, but T's&C's say gift cards excluded so I guess I'll wait for some DP's on that

Yeah, what the terms say, and how a benefit actually works are often two different things. The biannual $50 Saks credit also excludes gift cards, but there are tons of successful DPs about buying a $50 GC in store and the purchase crediting.

You're not going to swing by the Cheesecake Factory or Ruth's Chris every month to buy a $10 gift card?
I wanted to do this to accumulate enough for a date night.:) The terms state this, though right at #1:
  1. This benefit doesn’t offer statement credits for gift card or merchandise purchases. Rats! *Edit: just saw your latest comment. You first! lol Let us know if it works?

I am with you on cheesecake and the Cheesecake Factory but Ruth's Chris gets my vote or maybe Shake Shack.
I might try those, except they are all way out of the way for us. Like 30+ mins and then trying to find parking - even the Cheesecake Factory. I did see some places on Grubhub we go sometimes.

Terrific! DH and I both got the $200 off of $200 offer. That's the best offer we have received. That more than makes up for the $95 AF.

Just curious was the $200 offer for 3 months also? If so, super jealous! I really don't understand who pays for these offers? Is it Amex or the company? Seems like a lot of $$$ to be doling out. Also the RMN offers, where does the money come from?? I guess the companies maybe pay to be on there? But they doled out a ton of money last month, happy to take it, just don't understand how these things work for the businesses.

I have put a few hundred on a couple different AMEX cards of DH, and still got the pop up when applying for the Hilton Biz for him. I think I am giving up. Not a huge deal, but the points would have been nice. It's weird because I don't spend much more on mine, that isn't MSR and I had no issues getting it a couple of weeks before him.
I hate not having a MSR lol, especially when going out of town next weekend. Oh well, just biding my time until it's time to try to start working towards my CP later this fall.

Looking at Nashville hotels again for Friday night... I'm very tempted to book the Fairfield downtown/gulch area on points. It's 35k, but for some reason it's coming up as $850 that night! Think of my inflated value!
The gulch is a very nice area/upper class and walkable to shopping/dining. Taylor Swift has a condo there....or she did at some point.

DPs already rolling in: Just FYI I tried buying a $10 Grubhub gift card to see how it coded on my PRG and it says gift card in the transaction name. Won’t work to trigger the $10 credit.

This is the offer I received: Get a one-time $200 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single payment of $200+ towards your AT&T Wireless for Business bill directly with AT&T by 12/7/2018. I just applied the $200 to my AT & T as a pre-payment since my bill wasn't due yet. I am hoping AT & T uses it rather than my auto bill. I guess I should go check at that payment due says $0 since it is scheduled to pay on my other CC tomorrow.

This is such an amazing offer! I just got it too. One problem...I have Verizon.

Ok, my $50 one says can be used 3 times, so I guess the $200 is still better, but I will happily take my $150 also.

This is how my att bill posts to CIP. It is for internet/directv. How does the att wireless post to amex for those of you who have gotten the credit? Does it specify wireless? If so I won't bother switching this over to amex. If not, I will give it a try!Screen Shot 2018-10-04 at 8.37.56 AM.png

Hmmm... maybe I'll book that and an airport hotel... then if we stick with our original flight getting in at 11:30pm we can stay at the airport one as it won't matter. But if we take the earlier flight, maybe we'll stay there...

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but I am way behind on reading and just jumped in. I was approved for the AMEX SPG personal card on 8/9/17 and should receive a free night on the card anniversary. It has been 8 weeks today since the anniversary date and nothing from AMEX or SPG or Marriott (I have already merged accounts). I did receive a statement last week from AMEX with the $95 AF posted (due on 10/20). Will I receive the free night before having to pay the annual fee? Trying to decide whether to cancel or not and need to make that call in the next week or so. Thanks in advance for any info!
